The girl whose feet were lopped off on the Superman ride at a theme park last year. Google Superman + feet and you should find it. Also, you'll probably find some insane fetish sites.

It's a combination of City police and RCMP depending on which jurisdiction you're in out here. It's precisely this division and the communication and jurisdiction problems it creates that let Willie Pickton kill an estimated 50 women and grind them up for his pigs because they were just hookers. Edited to add: There is also an open gang war (31 murders so far this year if I recall correctly) going on in the Vancouver area right now and there is some conjecture that these are washing up as a result of a large number of body dumping going on. The shoes are naturally buoyant and once the leg decays enough for the foot to detach, the feet just bob up to the surface and get washed ashore.

So Molti, your Margos comparison may not be far off, except that the hitters are probably chinese or indo-canadian.
