This is where you tell him he's awesome and say congratulations and blah blah blah. From the producer of Transformers!

Note: They fucked up the logline. That's not what it's about.

Along with Paramount, DreamWorks was also said to be circling the project, which centers on a teenage boy who falls for an attractive girl only to later learn that the girl is actually a spy.
Sounds like a cross between Alias, Spy Kids, and Hannah Montana. Congrats and good luck. What's the normal turn around on script purchase/production, anyway?

You never know. Sometimes the studio has notes and there are extensive rewrites. Sometimes there aren't. After that they go to talent, actors or directors, and that could take days or years. Then after that, you may have more rewrites based on notes from actors or directors. Or you may go straight to pre-production. In other words, it's always different and this town is never predictable.

And regarding the plot, it's more like THREE O'CLOCK HIGH meets ALIAS.

Nice. Congrats, Slater.

Good on you, Slater. Having three scripts hitting the big time all at once has to be a rush.

I suggest he set up an entourage application form.

Let's hope Slater can keep control of his script and he doesn't go through David Duchovny's hell from The TV Set.

Regardless, congratulations! That's a very positive writeup and hopefully more good things will come your way because of it.

That would have to make Bateman Johnny Drama, wouldn't it?

Sadly, I think you're going to be dick deep in wanna-be Turtles.

I used to manage a fast-food place and think Anna Faris wants to make relations with me. Can I be the in-over-my-head manager?

Nice callbacks. I always appreciate well crafted allusions.

I don't know you personally, but I'm always happy when someone actually finishes something(writing, art, music, whatever) and manages to move along with it(sell it, or have an audience).

I have good ideas occasionally, and can't finish jack shit. Good job man, best of luck.
