excellent episode. Dina Meyer still looks smoking hot. Someone needs to give her a steady job.
Well, no need for a lot of words about the finale... that kicked ass.
Kicked ass and sets up for a great premise for Season 3. Angry spies coming after Michael, setting traps and gunning for him probably while he's in the middle of trying to help his clients? I'm all for it.

Plus the new season is only a handful of months away. What did they say, June or July?

Also felt like this episode had a significantly larger budget than normal. Explosions, car wrecks, car chases, helicopters, etc...
Wow, that was a fantastic finale, one of the best I've ever seen. Big budget Burn Notice is the SHIT

And Fiona got to kill somebody!
Pretty great ending. Even better than the drive into the truck. Love that Michael would rather take on all comers than be forced to live life on a leash. Always nice to see a reminder that Sam is pretty good at what he does. I think we need more reminders of that some time, since he is the comedic element; but the character is a former SEAL and spy.

Sucks about Victor, I was really enjoying Shanks on this show. But yeah, that finale was pretty great.
I would have loved to see Shanks stick around, he was a great adversary for Micheal.

YES! More death! More grittiness!

This show is seriously picking up steam.
For a bit there, thought they were going to kill off Sam and make Victor Michael's new sidekick.

Superior season ending. What a way to finish. With a bang.
great finale. Lots of "how to" segments too. Even Sam built a christmas light explosive.

I hate we must wait until June for new episodes.
Yeah, the wait new episodes will suck but this was definitely a great one. His response at the end of the episode was great. It kind of sets up them needing to stop the various organizations that will be going after them in the next season.

You could do worse than to kill some of that time with Tod Goldberg's The Fix. It's a fun, quick read, and it's got a slightly harder edge than the show in a way that feels appropriate (for instance, it gives Michael a barely-controlled disdain for the glossy side of Miami that doesn't really come across in the series).
Loved the finale. We got to see some nice little character bits with er'one and Michael and the other spy's interactions were great.
That was indeed a great finale!!!
However, the central question of WHY he was burned, WHO these people are that burned him, and HOW these people managed to have that kind of power and what they're up to in the first place still remain fairly unanswered.
No, they pretty much answered it with this ep. The organization that burned Michael is an independent black ops operation, created by the government at some point for some legitimate reason, but after it's primary mission was completed it continued running itself because the people in control of it had the power and desire to keep it running. That's why they have the power to burn Michael, they're a government born organization with lasting government connections. They burned Michael (as they did with Carla and Victor) because he was good at he did and they wanted him for their organization.

I'm sure they could delve further into it, but that is the answer.

Oh, ok, that makes sense!!! I think I'll have to watch it again then as I was pretty tired when I did.
Thanks for clearing that up for me!

oh and the on-star bit about locations of the closest hardware stores was brilliant..
Pretty great episode. Not 100% sold on Carla being dead. But dissapointed Victor is. He would have been a good addition to Michaels crew. They played off each other pretty well.

Are we really sure either one of them is dead? Really? In a world where we have Tony from 24 seemingly coming back from the dead, it's very possible that Victor is still alive. If there's anyone out there that would know how to shoot someone without actually killing them, it would be Michael Scott.
But yeah, if he is dead than that sucks,,,I do agree that he would have been a really cool addition to the team.
Does Burn Notice really need to NOT kill them though? I'd rather they just be dead because the show does a good job creating new and interesting characters (besides the sometimes annoying client of the week).

Victor=dead. Carla=fate left intentionally ambiguous, perhaps used later, perhaps not.

This. Victor dying cemented Mike's resolve. It's crucial to the following scenes.
One of the things I really enjoyed about the finale was seeing Mike, Sam and Fiona getting little moments that show that they are in fact trained bad asses.

Mike having to kill Victor at the end was intense.

Great show, I can't wait until it comes back. I'm very very interested to see how next season is going to look.
Oh snap, John Mahoney is the new main bad guy!

This show's pretty consistent in it's quality despite the help-a-random-person-per-episode formula.

I don't know if they could really pull off this crossover. Is there a Dunder-Mifflin branch in Miami?
I thought it was pretty funny that Shanks got a whatever you call it (the thingy that says his name and the dramatic pause dillybob, I hate it when I can't remember crap).. and I thought it sucked he had to die. I want more Shanks. I watched him for years on SG and it was cool to see him in something different. (Yeah, yeah, SG, basically Star Trek with the enterprise turned into a interstellar gateway but whatever...) I only started watching this show for The Bruce, but the other characters have grown on me. Awesome finale. Damn, I ramble when I type too.

Is this, the third season, over or what?? It was a great show.
Season 3 was split into two parts. The second half should air sometime later this year.
Season 3 will be back January 28th. Also been picked up for a 4th season, according to USA Network's site.
