I like that the disbanding and retirement of NIN has not affected Trent Reznor in a way that would keep him from revisiting his best material. Maybe there will be a HALO 5 reissue in the next few years. I just wonder what film he's gonna score next cause I don't think that How To Destroy Angels project is going to hold up. I am really looking forward to rediscovering HALO 2 on Nov. 22.

A PHM re-release? Holy shit, how did it take so long to find out?

Awesome news.

A few weeks ago Reznor confirmed an early 2011 release for How to Destroy Angels and a late 2011 release for a new NIN album.

OK. I hope the full length HTDA album is good. If NIN is releasing a new studio album I'm all about it. I wonder if it'll be a casual effort like The Slip.

I really dig the HTDA EP. And yeah, The Slip is my least appreciated NIN album, but it was a freebee.

Stream Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine Reissue in Its Entirety Right Now

[copied from pitchfork.com]

On November 22, UMe/Bicycle Music Company will release a remastered and expanded reissue of Pretty Hate Machine, Nine Inch Nails' landmark debut album. (The vinyl version is out December 7.) Right now, you can stream the whole thing, including the bonus track cover of Queen's "Get Down Make Love", at Soundcloud.

I am so all about this it's not even funny. Damn this album sounds good! [edit] I highly recommend Terrible Lie, Sanctified, SIN, The Only Time and Ringfinger.
