This much Halloween.

Call me crazy but I can't wait for this. The film's grown on me but as I've said elsewhere, if you've got Michael Myers killing teenagers I'll eat it up. My standards are pretty low when it comes to HALLOWEEN sequels.

Looks like I'll be borrowing this DVD from my friend who buys everything.

I imagine most "making of" DVD extras are nowhere near as interesting as the movies themselves. Not to mention nowhere near as long. THIS one is almost triple the movie running time, I'd imagine. Self indulgence, indeed.

No. Just No.

3 disc set? Four and a half fucking hour documentary? Absolutely ridiculous.

Except if it's four and a half hours of Zombie apologizing.

Ha ha, really?

Fangoria hasn't revealed many details besides the fact that there will be a four-and-a-half-hour long (!) documentary about the making of the film included....I absolutely detested the film...But that's almost insane enough to make me want to pick it up.
NO! You're becoming part of the problem!! Don't do it!

We're in the same boat Alex. This is why I bought the two disc and was disappointed, so I'll just sell it and get this one. If it's anything like The Devil's Rejects documentary it's not to be missed, film quality be damned.

Feast 2: Hell yes.

It would be great if it was 3 discs worth of Forsythe outtakes.

I would never pay for it, but I'm actually intrigued by such an in-depth documentary. When something goes so very, very wrong, how can you not be interested in finding out the whys and the hows? I doubt I could make it through the entirety of its 4 hour running time, but if someone I knew plopped down the cash for this, then I wouldn't mind skipping around through the doc searching for the most unintentionally funniest bits.

I wonder if this 4 hour doc that will candidly explain "what went wrong" on Halloween will be produced by the same magical elves who'll bring us a Dimension-funded doc on why Grindhouse failed.
I don't really expect the doc to be a candid "what went wrong" exposé as much as it will be 4 hours of incredibly poor decision making on display. Again, there's no way I could sit through the entire 4 hours, but my curiosity when it comes to these sorts of failures has definitely been piqued in this case. If someone put together a detailed, no-holds-barred account of the making of Southland Tales, I'd probably be just as curious to (suffer)see it.

Even after the remake, the concept of remaking Halloween remains maddening, so I would like to be privy to AT LEAST four hours of people saying, "Yes, we are actually remaking Halloween, and this is why and how."

Um, what are you saying no to? My reaction to a film? I said my standards were low, I didn't say Zombie's effort was necessarily good, I gave my criteria that allowed me to enjoy the second half of the film.

What have I done so tragically wrong?
I made it 15 minutes into this film and turned it off.
And I love terrible Horror movies.

Documentary better be some Hearts of Darkness-type shit to justify buying this.
There's no justification.
