I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
I wasn't in love with his art like a large amount of people in the comic industry were, but I really liked him as a person. The few times I met him he couldn't have been more pleasant to speak with, and he always had time to shoot the shit if you saw him walking around. We were supposed to have him at our shop for a signing numerous times, but his illness at certain times prevent plane flights, and traveling etc.
Mostly I thought his art sucked, but cancer sucks far more. It really needs to stop taking so many young people. It's hard to believe Ringo and Turner are both gone.
Not even close to being big enough for the Dead Celebrity thread,
Actually, I think the whole point of the dead celebrity thread was to keep the boards from being choked by news of minor celebrities dying. Giving someone who "isn't big enough" their own thread is counter-intuitive.

Outside of the comic industry he's no kind of celebrity, so updating the Dead Celebrity thread in the main forum and having 99.9% of the people who look at that go "Huh?" seemed a bit counter-intuitive.
Whoops, I missed this thread so I ended up posting it in the Dead Celebrity thread. I thought people didn't want multiple threads on this all over the place ...
Yeah, I think this was posted in the right place. If someone from the Comic Book community dies this is the first place I'd look. I don't think it'll clutter up the board at all or even enough to make any impact.
But seriously, drawing hands and feet sucks. That, and I used to dig his art for a bit. It certainly holds up better than some of the shit of that era(Liefeld, etc), and he was young, which is always a shame.
