Anyone happen to be going to Horrorfind in Maryland in September?
I'll be the gentleman with the red carnation on my lapel.
You want to me to show up, Phil?

I want you wearing a sign. Something like this would be pretty safe at that place:

And have Miguel Nunez kick my ass? I don't think so!
I'll be there first thing Friday, then on and off throughout the weekend.

You'll be the guy in the black t-shirt, right?
Yeah, but mine will say FULCI LIVES.
Michael Madsen is not on the guest list anymore. What could this mean?

I visited some friends at the hotel tonight. Felix Silla, Derek Mears, and a handful of skanky/hot broads were loitering in the lobby. Not as fun as it sounds.

You didn't wear the sign, Bob. But it was fun exchanging voicemails with you, and the guy in green shirt and glasses who was not you was nice enough about my confusion. Next time!

Unfuckingbelievable. We live 10 minutes apart.
If you saw a guy in a red t-shirt with a woman in a blue dress and a bald dude (black shirt natch) and a guy in a vest and tie sitting in the lobby Saturday night... that was us.

People who should NOT be charging 20 bucks for an autograph: David Naughton, Kelly LeBrock, the entire cast of Friday The 13th Part 5.

Most surprising moments:
Talking philosophy with George The Animal Steele (who also performed David Blaine style street magic for people).

Michael Biehn seemed happy to be there.

Michael Berryman is a James Marsters fan.

Least surprising moment:
Adam West being a dickhead.

Gary Busey
Jake Busey
Eric Roberts

Inevitably there will be wrestlers added to the list. Which makes me wonder why nobody has put together a full on action movie convention yet.

I'll go for the Busey, and stay for the Busey!

Powerman 5000 looks like the worst thing in the world.
Oh wait, the guy from Repo the Genetic Opera will be there too...

Dawn of the Dead Grey Suit Zombie? Seltzer Bottle Biker!?!? I said goddamn!
Artie Bucco? No! That one hurts. That's not how it should be.
Wow, Jenny Wright's gonna be there? I heard she was MIA.
Wait, Zacherley is like 92 years old. What are the odds he makes it to the convention date?
Deodato! Che bello! Must have just posted the roster, I swear I checked on Tuesday or Wednesday. Looks a little thin, hopefully there'll be some additions.

And Jesus, I totally forgot about that Monstermania in Cherry Hill next month. Tom Atkins and Meg Foster? That's going to have to take "tax return fun money" precedence. Thank god for this thread.

Yeah, that was a real surprise to see her listed.

I'm gonna try to make it out to MonsterMania this Saturday, but I make no promises. Phil, give Dario my love if I can't.

Just found out yesterday that Horrorfind Weekend has decided to move up to Gettysburg this year during Labor Day weekend. This kinda bums me. I rather liked it at the Hunt Valley Inn in Maryland. Does anyone go to this one? I think a couple of you mentioned being in attendance last year, but unfortunately I never ran into any of you (that I know of).

Monster Mania was an utter dog this year. Poured the whole weekend, the dealer's room is slowly turning into a shitty horror craft fair, awkward tribute to Corey Haim, and they didn't know what to do with Dario Argento, who was sitting quietly in the audience of a tiny meeting room watching the A/V tech struggle to get a DVD of Suspiria to play.

Some actress from the original My Bloody Valentine had a seizure at her autograph table.

Well then I'm not too disappointed I missed out. Although I would have liked to have seen a woman have a seizure while signing autographs.
Was the dealer room a crowded mass of dampness from the rain?

Yeah, it smelled wonderful. Bootleg DVDs seem to be dropping down to $10, though.
You can thank the internets for that. The price drop, not the damp-stink.

Oh, hey, a Dream Child reunion... um...ok.

Somebody get some info out of Carpenter about The Ward if they are there. I'm rooting for a surprise late game home run from him with that one.
