Going to Norway next week

I'm going to be in Oslo next week, and was wondering if any Chewers familiar with the area could make any recommendations as to things to do, places to visit. I'm completely unfamiliar with this country, all I know is from the Epcot Center Norway ride that this land is infested with trolls which sounds like a lot of fun.

Being in Minot, North Dakota home of Hostfest, I believe the largest Scandanavian cultural festival in the continental United States let me offer you a tip:

Lutefisk=Eeeeeevvvviiiiilllll.

Oh boy Lutefisk looks disgusting.



I was told not to expect much from the local food, but then again in the UK I ate well by eating at every restaurant not offering "British" food ... I'm hoping I have a similar selection of non-local food there too.

Um, the furtherst north I have been is Denmark. I do know that it can be very expensive up in those Scandinavian countries. So choose wisely with what you intend to do.
