Rose McGowan's Available!

Looks like Rose and Robert Rodriguez split up, which kinda puts the kibosh on Barbarella, no?
The kibosh seemed already put on Barbarella, no?
I however completely respect her sense of fashion, even if she puts a bit too much clothes on.

I've been out of the loop for awhile on that... I'd heard McGowan was being considered for Red Sonja recently, but I thought Barbarella was at least on hold. The kicker was the break-up... y'know, I thought those two crazy kids would make it...

ETA: I always thought she'd make a good potential MJ for any future Spider-Man films, since I doubt Kirsten Dunst is coming back.
Love, love, love those pictures of her on that site.
Now, if only Rose circa 1997 were available...

Hey, 2008 Rose ain't no slouch - I saw a pretty good pic of her recently with red hair at some red carpet thing.
So he destroyed his family for nothing. Karma can be cruel.
Now all he has is a broken home and a pile of kids all with R-names.
Bad day to be Sebastian Gutierrez. Rodriguez is definitely gonna make a bee-line for Carla Gugino. At least that's what I would do if I was Robert Rodriguez. Actually if I was Robert Rodriguez I'd first call up Joaquim de Almeida and apologize for not using him again even though he was so awesome in DESPERADO. But as soon as I got off the horn with Joaquim I'd most certainly make that bee-line for Carla Gugino. Yep, that's what I would do if I was Robert Rodriguez. BEE-LINE!

Did you see the bit from the Planet Terror DVD of Rose practicing her dance moves for the movie?

I'd destroy my family for a year or so of that.

The carpet matches the drapes?

So, it's green then?
That kills like 4 different projects.
Well, as long as it doesn't kill Machete, I don't really care. And Red Sonja? Unless you cast The Rock in it, it's a premature loser.
Does it really kill them though? Maybe Red Sonja and Woman in Chains but why would it kill Barbarella?

If anything the studio would me more willing to go for it with someone like Biel, Beckinsale or ScarJo in the role.

Besides Rose is a little gross these days. I never understood what RR was thinking. Sure she has great stems but other than that she has ruined her looks with plastic surgery.
She peaked in The Doom Generation.

I've been waiting for a Grindhouse box set, but damnit, now I gotta pick up that DVD.

I'd destroy your family for a year or so of that as well.

I would sell my soul and anything else for Carla Gugino. Rose McGowan is a fox but I wouldn't ruin my marriage for her. Now for Carla there is no limit of marriages and families that I would destroy.

Just because.

The picture is reason enough.

Also, clicking on the first link, I found out Uma Thurman is engaged now? Sounds like a Rodriguez-Tarantino karmic loop.

I'm with this guy. Gugino gets me to straight Jack it everytime. McGowan not so much. We can at least love RR for getting her to be nekkid.

Damn.
Up until Sin City came out, I was calling Gugino as the #1 most unsung fabulous babe in entertainment. Now everyone's on the bandwagon! As they should be.
Before you guys all splooge on your keyboards, I ask this... HOW LEGIT IS THIS STORY? Uhm, "Page Six" heard from some "sources". This is the New York Post, a rag that rolls out cheap-shot screaming headlines every day full of J Jonah Jameson type horseshit. Maybe it's true, sure. But I think I'd rather hear something more definite, like something either of them is quoted saying.

But for the record, I likes the Rose. She went from empty fetishy lust target, to finding a way to make that sarcastic shit hilarious and sexy as all hell in Planet Terror, and now is this movie geek's total crush just cuz of her TCM stints. When it comes to movies, the gal knows what she's talkin' about.

But she's still a fetishy lust target. I think she looks great.
I've wanted inside of that since SON IN LAW.

touch choice.

If I had to, I'd go with Carla... let's be honest.. a Michael J. Fox vehicle never made a bad decision with casting women.

Julie Warner
Helen Slater(my 80's crush)
Elisabeth Shue
Gabrielle Anwar
Nancy Travis
and the young Courtney Cox!
Don't forget Thuy Thu Le!
Not a tough choice at all. Carla for the fucking win. At least she never fucked Marilyn Manson.
That shot of her violently hard nipples in "Scream", when she opens the garage door? That was like a second puberty.

Given what was inside that previously (and by previously I am referring specifically to Manson)? Really?

I'd triple bag it, if I were you.....

I believe the gentleman was referring to Carla Gugino, as she was the female lead in Son in Law.

Just, you know...FYI.

Ahhh. Given that I have never seen that movie (nor am I ever likely to see it), you'll have to forgive the mistake.
Ahh, "Son In Law"....for one hot minute Pauly Shore was a Gen-X (pop culture) sensation. (What were we smoking????)

You're forgiven. And I can't really say I blame you. In fact, I kind of admire you, and wish I'd had your restraint back then.

He's no Rod Steiger and that bitch is definitely no Yvonne DeCarlo.
I've successfully blocked The Weas-El's filmography from memory, but I've wanted inside Gugino since noticing how adorable Michael J. Fox's girlfriend was on the first season of Spin City.

ETA: But not to derail too much. Rose is very good too. I would wreck this chick.

I want them BOTH. NOW.

No contest between the two, McGowan's face looks like it's melting.

Yeah, can't blame George Bush for that one. Sorry, that's all on you Gen X.
