Like most rock stars, the guy's a bit of a fruitcake, but I listened to his "Selfish Love" song, and whether you like Asian rock or not, I think anyone could appreciate his clear talent.

I haven't heard any of their other stuff, but "Electric Circus" by Thee Michelle Gun Elephant is another one people might like.
