Major drama in Alabama...

Thread Starter
Alabama, home of the Don Siegelman political persecution/wrongful imprisonment, is afire today with political SCANDAL!

Alabama state attorney general Troy King is relying on that old chestnut "voter fraud" as a means to intimidate African American, elderly, poor and other possible democrats away from voting places in Alabama. This is one of the myriad strategies for the much ballyhooed upcoming event, Election Theft '09. Read about that here.

But the plot thickens for our hero, AG Troy King (who also is, or maybe was, John McCain's state chairman for his presidential campaign), who is notoriously and vocally anti-gay rights...

Alabama Attorney General Troy King Prepares to Resign?
July 9th, 2008

A spokesperson for Alabama Governor Bob Riley denied that Attorney General Troy King is preparing to resign in the wake of a massive rumor campaign that has yet to be fully confirmed. The word is, according to multiple sources in Montgomery and elsewhere, that King was recently caught by his wife in a gay affair with a male aide and banished from his home.

According to Tara Hutchison in the executive office of the governor they have heard of no plans in the works for King’s resignation. She said she had not heard that he had been kicked out of his home because of a gay affair.

Am I the only one who has a few seconds' trouble computing that the thread title does not rhyme every time I see it? It's like my brain just short circuits for a moment. I don't know why.

And, on topic - I find it immensely entertaining (and am no longer surprised, honestly) when these anti-gay people are caught in the act.

People say it's a cliche that homophobes are afraid of their own latent gayness...but when that keeps happening it warms my sub-cockle area.

I had this with the "Unskinny bop bop, rapey bop" thread. I couldn't get to grips with the rythm of it. Pretty much ruined my life.

St Paul just said it so much better then I could.
Galatians 6:13
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
