Nothing for Mad Men, Matt?

Drama Series: LOST
Comedy Series: 30 ROCK

Supporting Actor, Drama: MICHAEL EMERSON
AKA Too good to be true. I hope those results too.

I'd only swap Lost for Mad Men and Hugh Laurie with John Hamm.
Hamm really needs to win, even if Mad Men is shut out in the other categories. He's phenomenal on the show.

Anyone see Christina Hendricks on the red carpet arrivals? Sweet sassy molassey!
Oprah was awful. WTF was that?
Jeremy Piven sets the tone for a night of yawns.

This is the biggest problem with the Emmys: nothing is re-evaluated. If you win three consecutive times for a role, it doesn't mean you're the best. It means that the voters are lazy.

I'll check the results at the end; back to playing Rock Band.
Ok, the opening was even worse. And Piven took a jab at it. Nice.

I like Mad Men and I wouldn't be upset if it won, but I think other shows are better.

Pictures? Please? DaveB and I are counting on you...
Boooo! Michael Emerson just got robbed out of his deserved win for Best Supporting Actor.
Yeah, it was Emerson's or Slattery's to win.
Ricky had me laughing.
It dragged a little bit. But the idea was good.

Gervais dragged only just a bit. That'll be the most entertaining this show gets.
Hayden Panettiere looks severely fuckable there.
J.J. Abraham's date is VERY hot.
Me: Holy...

Dave: What?

Me: Jesus...

Dave: Oh, is that? I thought you were talking about Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Me: Uh, no. Look.

::turns computer::

Dave: Wow.

Me: Yeah.

Thanks, Brendan.

Hotties of the night

My favorites anyway.
I hadn't heard that Kevin Bacon passed away.

ETA: I would really like the opportunity to sexually disappoint Ms Lilly.
I went to high school with Hayden Panatierre, and I am now seriously regretting not even attempting to smash that, despite a four year difference.
I'm sure she also regrets it, KABONG.
She probably thinks about it all of the time.

They just straight-up cut that fellow from John Adams off. Wow.
Evangeline Lily has been in my home town of Kelowna. That's my opening when I become famous and try to get with that.

He didn't listen to Ricky Gervais.
Yay, Matthew Weiner. Though it's the internet, so I should complain that the finale was the superior script.
Is Breaking bad really that good?
Wow, look at the Cheerleader. She looks legal!
So apparently the Emmys are actually the "Fuck you, Hugh Laurie" show.

But I'm happy about all the 30 Rock love.
Awww, Tina! You look good, don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

Mad Men won???

Holly Shit! There is a god!

Seriously?

Cranston pulling Best Actor was great. Breaking Bad really deserves more exposure. And it does kick ass that Damages took a Supporting Actor win even though I was expecting it to be Danson. Close winning is no surprise. She was amazing.
I haven't seen Damages, but Zeljko Ivanek is great in everything he's in (including one section of John Adams), so I would call that win deserved.
As my last made thread should cue, I don't really watch all that much popular television, but I wanted Cranston to win, more then I've wanted someone I don't know to win something in a very long time. I'm also happy to hear Mad Men won.

Amen. It's amazing how behind the curve these awards can often be, especially in terms of drama, but they really came through by giving Cranston that award. Fantastic work from him on that show.

In a final fuck you to Buffy they had an online poll picking tv's best moments. They chose a Drama and comedy wiinner. Whedon fans came out in full force and voted the final scene from "The Gift" as the winner. It was suppose to be shown on air but because of the stupid opening and the hosts going on and on all show the segment was cut. Thank you Emmys.

Buffy wins

Jesus Christ, Anya, fucking get over it already.
Btw "I'm Fucking Matt Damon" won an Emmy for best original song.
Piven won again over Neil Patrick Harris? Fuck that.

Go suck Sorkin's cock while watching Two Cathedrals on a loop.
Hooray to 30 Rock for kicking some ass last night. Hopefully NBC starts giving out the Hour longs to this insted of Earl.
At the very least, I don't think we'll have to worry about the show being cancelled if the ratings don't pick up.
After all, look what an Emmy did for Arrested Development!
Again with the Arrested Development comparisons. Yeesh. This show has earned itself the right to be compared to Seinfeld now.

You know, Seinfeld didn't catch on until it's third season.

You blow your father with that mouth?
EDIT:

Anya, move the fuck on. Boo hoo, the Emmys didn't blow Whedon on the stage like all you Buffy fans wanted. The Wire was a better show and its been fucked over by them as well, but I doubt fans of that show will be lamenting about that fact 5 years after its off the air.

Is the Internet set to collapse in five years? Because otherwise . . .
It's weird reading people fight over whose favorite television show is better in the manner they're doing it above, like drunk sports fans. Take a breath.

But on the other hand, fuck all of you, Mad Men won. I've never seen a frame of a Joss Whedon tv show. His X-Men comic was retard fun, though.
I seriously doubt there's gonna be "an Emmy bump" for 30 Rock considering the ceremony itself received record low ratings. Let's just hope TV viewers give a rat's ass about Oprah and Jennifer Aniston showing up.
