Thanks for quoting my blanket dismissal of the UK press (which I still stand by), Bees. I can't stand those rags. They're among the yellowest journalism the free world has to offer.
I'm truly ashamed of my country's journalism. To make matters worse, the BBC are worse than anything Murdoch-owned. At least it's blatant with the crap the Daily Mail spills out, usually in a bold font. The BBC's left-wing stuff is fucking disastrous.

Even the bloody Independent (which used to be quite good) has started making stuff up.

Seriously the only use British Newspapers have is figuring out who you want to steer clear of.

And I had to read about six of the things a day when I was training to be a Journalist myself.

Now, Doc, you know Lisa's not one to tie herself down to just one individual. Her love must be allowed to run, and run free. It's the hippy in her. She's always been like this...

...even before Heath Ledger died.

See, now that I've been allowed to have my rant about the non-stop Heath-corpse-fucking (not my phrase, it was in another thread...), I can laugh about it!

(And Doc, I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you try to steal Oldman from me, I WILL fight you for him!)

I've had to amass a tab in firefox about 20 sites long just to "average" the news out now. From the Sun's "Man kills hooker with fork!" to the BBC's "Working girl dies in catering accident".

I feel smarter on days when I just don't read any of them. It's like clearing my head of the garbage.

I don't know anyone wanting to steal Oldman (except you - there has to be at least one, I suppose).

So mean!
I can't help it. Even his name is unappealing (to me). Old Man. Who wants to do the wild thing with an old man (besides LisaNY)?

For the record, I'm just giving you a hard time. We all have our crushes. Maybe one day I'll clue you on mine.

Heh all this Oldman talk reminds me of the time a friend of mine went trick or treating in the Hollywood Hills and ended up knocking on his door. He did in fact answer it.

TELLL MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!: The Sequel.

Aaaahh... Stahl, I see...

UPDATE: Christian Bale claims his innocence. In the words of Ricky Ricardo, when Lucy accidentally gets 'em tossed into the clink, "Yo soy innocento!"

It was easy, but Furlong was way funnier.

Maybe Bale's sister and mom needed an enema!

I can keep doing this all day.

Says Tati, whilst I attempt to wash images of a "sexy" Furlong out of my eyes. Think happy thoughts. Stahl. Stahl. Stahl. Stahl.

So he beat up his mother and sister. Big deal. Don't they know who he is?

He's the goddamn Batman.

Especially if he said "Ya wanna get nuts? LET'S GET NUTS!" to them.

Well nothing really strange happened. My friend knocked on his door, he answered and recognized him. According to my friend, all Oldman did was say "Yeah" repeadly and then shut the door.

To test whether or not it was a fluke. He did again the following year and sure enough he answered the door.

Although the idea of Hbarr having a crush on Edward Furlong is hilarious.

Dear god, the man's head looks like it's in the middle of an implosion. Or he had the sourest sour ball known to man.
The question is what the fuck was he doing at at "Tomorrow Never Dies" event?
If someone dragged me to the premiere to "Die Another Die", I would've had to be high as hell in public too.
Must be one of those Premier cigarettes that James Garner talked about in Barbarians at the Gates.

'Course, he's no Heath... (smacked upside the head by Lisa).
Funny you mention that Tim, I've been meaning to check out Barbarians at the Gate. In the meantime, maybe it was some kind of cross promotion with Pecker at the time.
Somewhere, Devin Faraci is celebrating.

Or perhaps this is STILL part of a parallel viral marketing. You know, the one that started with those rumors about Ledger dying...

Rich, Heath-y goodness from Tim to me:
Quote:
Have you accepted Heath Ledger into your life? May I walk wih you and tell you about his possible Academy Award nomination? Would you like this pamphlet explaining the awesomeness that is Heath Ledger? Did you ever notice that rising gas prices during peak driving seasons such as this summer not only tend to rise above normal levels due to speculation in the markets, and not, as you would assume, by increased demand from motorists, but also from the misery most consumers are experienceing now that Heath Ledger is no longer with us?

Probably explains why Christian Bale got all up in his moms and sister's shit. Dude was lashing out at the lack of all things Heath Ledger.
Its all that fucking brooding the motherfucker does.
Which one was Heath Ledger in THE BAT-MAN? Was he the double-faced guy?
If anyone sees Tim with a short sleeve dress shirt and a tie riding a bicycle. Then you know he's gone full bore on this. Mind you if there was ever anyone to be deify I'd rather have it be Ledger than David Blaine.

"This just in... aparently the Batman role had so much of an impact on Christian Bale that tonight he slugged his own mother and sister.

After the arrest, Bale's Mother commented to the press, 'Method acting is such a big thing in Hollywood. It could be worse... he could be DEAD!'"
As someone said some other place around here, you can take the boy out of Wales...and yet the sheep-shagging, misogynistic, dickhead gene always wins through. Bad Luck Christian.

From his witness statement:

"My anger outweighs my guilt."
On a much more serious note:

http://www.nationalpost.com/news/story.html?id=672044

"Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister," Allen said in a statement.

"Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, cooperated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police."

She confirmed separately that the allegation was of assault.

When asked if Bale had been arrested and released on bail, a police spokeswoman said: "A 34-year-old man has been bailed to return to a police station on a date in September."
