lifetime anyone?

Thread Starter
I have been watching a lot of Lifetime movies lately since no good shows are really on TV over the summer. Some of the movies are really good and others are just OK, I'm waiting for a movie with good actors in it.. anyone know any good movies coming out?

I, uh...I...I got nothing.

Yes, The Fantasia Barrino Story and Racing for Time. Because I worked on them. Even if they are bad. Watch.

The return of justdecent! I thought they got rid of your kind of scum back in January? Where's your partner, latentgreens? Oh, I forgot, he'll be here tomorrow with an answer to your query. Go play on a freeway.

Confessions of a Go Go Dancer and Daughter of the Bride but only because, like Casey, I worked on them.

Now kindly fuck off!

Uh, Jake, I don't think that was Lifetime...

I went through a huge, loving-them-for-the-camp phase with Lifetime movies when I was in high school. It has long since passed. I watched one a few months ago when I was home alone, but they're so awful, I don't think I could actually watch one with other people around.

I think that the season premiere of 'Men are Rat Bastards' starts next week. Charro guest stars, if I'm not mistaken.

I like the one with the one with the abused woman.

I've mentioned this before, but the one where Corky's sister kills Tori Spelling is fun.

I've watched Lifetime Channel once, and that was only because Tango and Cash was on it. I figured it was a once in a lifetime (ugh) opportunity and had to do it.

I like the half dozen or so where Tracy Gold has a struggle with anorexia.

Lifetime is where 70-80s actress' careers go to die.

"Lifetime. Abusing more women than men ever could."

EDIT: Apologies for any perceived misogyny.

Most Lifetime movies will make me throw up faster than '2 girls, 1 cup'.

My two favorite lifetime originals are "A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story" and the sequel "Her Final Fury: Betty Broderick, The Last Chapter".

Was "Homeless To Harvard: The Liz Murray Story" from Lifetime as well?

I used to love "Supermarket Sweep" when I was, like, 12 or 13.

ETA: Actually, I did the math and I was 11 the year I used to watch it alot. That and "Coach".

"Supermarket Sweep" was indeed glorious. I loved the "Married...With Children" episode that parodied it.

These movies crop up everywhere. I've had to suffer through a fair few and the channels "True Movies" and "True Movies 2" seem to play this stuff round the clock.

Just looking at a random schedule for one of those channels we got:

SHE WOKE UP, CHILD'S CRY, BETRAYED: A STORY OF THREE WOMEN, IN DEFENCE OF KIDS, PROPHET OF EVIL, THE MAN NEXT DOOR, TARGET FOR RAGE

What's this?

Victim Of Love
A therapist discovers that her boyfriend's involved with one of her patients. Although he assures her the attraction is just fantasy she begins to see him as the abusive man he is. With Pierce Brosnan
Pierce nooooo!

I think I saw HOMELESS TO HARVARD. It was heartwarming and life-affirming.

By the way, Racing for Time comes on at 9 CST tonight. Check it out. Did that one last summer.
