Shit. If anyone wants to switch his order with mine, I'd appreciate it as I'm mainly in office mainly in the morning. There's no guarantee I'll be able to post in time or earlier in the next weeks, as the crunches happens late in the day. I wanted to PM Kirby, but I'm surprised the order came out as quick as today.

I'm mainly directing to someone who is in the same situation as me only, and if there's no one, I will deal with that and still make a draft that's gonna kick your asses.

Also, not to be a dick but let's get this out of the way now: None of this business we had in the last draft with, "Ah, I've got to go out in a half hour when my slot comes up, so let me just post my pick now." Either make arrangements for someone else to put it up there in your allotted time, or post your pick after you get back.

I know I haven't much to offer, but it would help a lot if I could switch from Day 2 to Day 1. If there's anyone who can assist with that, I would be very grateful. I'm in the 1-3 group. If not, I'll deal, but it would seriously be way simpler for me on the other days.

If someone's top ten is gone within 18 picks, odds are they shouldn't be in the draft.

I'm pretty sure if I can't get moved to Day One, or work out some kind of deal with someone, I'll have to drop out of this, which would be damn annoying, but it's the only practical solution. Basically, Thursday and Friday of next week are pretty much out of the question and those are both Day Two picks. If someone wants to trade slots after the first two days of the draft maybe? Then they wouldn't have to give up first pick, and I could, you know, participate. Or is that ridiculous?

If you can't participate fully, don't participate. There are other drafts. Additionally in past drafts, if you can't make your time, you can request someone to post for you or you can post at the end of the day, after everyone has made their picks.

Fair enough, but further reflection has changed my mind. Long story short, I'm going on a business trip Thursday and Friday and I may or may not be available to get online at my time. I could definately pick up the pieces in the evening on both days, it just seems to be not in the spirit of the thing, and then people are waiting for me to draft through my two hour slot. The idea is to streamline things, not impose my will onto the draft.

I'm definitely going to have to change some things around professionally to participate in the draft. I've been working on this Castrol merger for weeks now. The big sticking point is they want to discontinue the 5W-20 line. But any fool can see that more and more cars are being sold that require 5W-20. Why can't these Castrol jokers see that?

But through it all I'm gonna find time to make my pick. Castrol be damned.

I still recall as a lad when my Daddy would come home from work. I'd ask him to have a catch in the backyard but he'd just pass me by and take a swim in some Bourbon. All while Mother sobbed in the kitchen.

If I knew then what I know now. The cycle just keeps repeating in this business. It's a crude line of work.

I mean, so long as I've posted by start of the next round which 9am EST?
