The Starving Dog Show

We've been planning a webcast show for a while now, but have been putting it off. After finally completing our latest movie The Final Detail, I have some free time while I work on the festival entries.

So, that means it is time to start the show! We are going to be releasing a series of "promos" leading up to the first episode. Each of the promos will be dealing with a specific "character" or "feature" that will be showcased on the actual show over time.

The first promo is up now and the second is on its way by the end of this week. Please be blunt. We are looking for what works and what doesn't in the comedy aspects (which is what all the promos are going to deal with). We'll be throwing up a couple of promos every week until the debut episode to try to build a viewership.

The YouTube page is http://www.youtube.com/StarvingDogs. If you like it, subscribe. That makes me happy.

It's also going up on iTunes but we are awaiting acceptance for that.

Let me know what you think. Warning: Most of my humor is juvenile

Haven't we all asked that? "Where...is...my ham sandwich?"

Everytime the wife and I go to the Ozarks, there are signs for endless miles advertising "HAM SANDWICHES" at some restaurant. She hates me the entire time we are passing through that part of the country, because I don't know the meaning of the word restraint when it comes to blurting out I WANT A HAM SAMICH everytime I see a sign.

Promo 002 is up. Don't know how this will go over with a film crowd. Plus, I am not the best actor in the world and this is one of the very few sketches I appear in. It's kind of a parody of of Seiskel and Ebert, except with one guy who can't remember his lines and another (me) who is really clueless...

Part 4 of the talk with Rob and I. This time we talk about some of the festivals we have been in and the future of this podcast. This is the last boring (or interesting if you are nice) interview segment with me and Rob, because we pretty much covered the last eight years in conensed form. We also left out all the flames because we don't like to burn bridges, even with assholes.

Next up is more "comedy" leading up to the first episode. That debut episode, by the way, will be Monday, September 08.

Don't forget about our contest for subscribers who comment on our vidoes to win free DVDs and movie passes.
