Who would you give this award to? Should go to the best collection of villain characters in a modern action movie. Such as the following:

Commando
  • Presidente Arius
  • Bennett
  • Sully
  • Cooke
Under Siege
  • Stranix
  • Cmdr. Krill
  • Doumer ( I bet the fuckin' love ya, now)
Die Hard
  • Hans
  • Karl
  • Theo
  • Franco
  • Marco
Robocop
  • Dick Jones
  • Clarence
  • Leon
  • Emil
Or some other worthy contender.

Limiting the qualifications to modern action films sadly excludes one of the greatest rogues galleries in the history of storytelling, that of Robin Hood:

-Prince John
-The Sheriff Of Nottingham
-Guy Of Gisborne
-The Bishop Of Black Cannons

You can't go wrong with that, be it The Adventures Of Robin Hood with the dastardly icons Basil Rathbone and Claude Rains, or Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, with my two favorite villain performances of all times given by Alan Rickman and Michael "favorite living actor" Wincott. Not to mention Geraldine McEwan plays an awesome old crone, Pat Muhfuckin' Roach is a howlin' Thor-hammer-swingin' boss of an anachronistic Celtic army, and random English actor Richard Strange turning a thankless walk-on henchman role as the executioner into an incredibly awesome and effective bad guy. People should re-watch this movie just for Gisborne and the executioner.

No contest, hands down:

Big Trouble in Little China
-Lo Pan
-The Three Storms
-That hairy creature
-That floating eyeball creature
-Army of henchmen led by Al Leong

Really, all you need is the three mother truckin' storms dude. Those guys were killer. Honorable mention:

Masters of the Universe
-Karg
-Saurod
-Beast Man
-Blade

Because you can't go wrong with a a henchmen team featuring a bat-faced guy with a hook for a hand, a cyborg lizard creature, a big hairy creature (recurring theme I guess) and a one eyed swordsman.

Fuck, I'm such a geek.
