That Rules of Attraction one is brilliant, I'd forgotten that one.

This one will go right next to Gwangi:

good one, Jake. I'd forgotten about that one for 'Creepshow'.

I'm mostly incompetent working computers. I don't know how to link these posters. I love the Struzan Blade Runner poster. Also the City of Lost Children poster. And Forbidden Planet.

I vastly prefer that one to the cast poster shown earlier. I love the art deco design of it.

I second the love for the V for Vendetta posters.

These I also like for various reasons.

Oldboy had a lot, but I like this one:

Always loved this one too:

Also good.

And shamefully, I've not seen this film yet. But I've always loved the image:

I know it's a recent one but I love so much about this poster:

I preferred the teaser posters for the first two Batman movies. They had no titles on them. Just that big bat symbol. I loved the idea that the symbol was so iconic that they didn't have to tell you what was coming.

This one is on the wall of my room (part of a limited edition press kit that was sent out to theaters with the film print)

:

Shotgun? Check. Baby? Check.

1) I like the movie
2) Even if you don't like it, you have to admit it's one of the best posters for 2008

That Godzilla poster is a thing of beauty.

My favorite film of all time:

And yeah, I'm going to go there. These were fucking terrific posters.

Yes, I actually own them all. They form one giant image, which is cool. They're not all on display now though, my Lucas anger sort of prevents that (Even though they're great just as art)

PS: My two favorite posters from the DARK KNIGHT campaign:

Oh, and I know most around here don't care for the film... but the posters are awe inspiring!

The russian and italian posters for the Old man and the sea are nice too.

I know I've seen that particular "romantic couple embrace" on the BURNING poster somewhere else. It's killing me.

It's one of my favorites from that time period and it always puts me in mind of another poster that was burned on to my brain from years of mom & pop videostores. SCHIZOID. A trash favorite.

Love the show, love the poster, movie was not that great though.
post #97 of 116
This poster is 42 years old, simple yet cool design that could be used today, I think it's great;

This is how i remember Linda Blair;

Don't fuck the fish;

Can't believe no one posted this yet:

Both E.T. posters are fabulous:

Going the opposite route, but I didn't feel like making a whole new thread. I just stare at this poster, amazed something could be this bad. Some people might think it's a standard collection of heads poster, but no. This thing immediately smacked me with its badness. It shook me to my very core. This is the worst movie poster I have ever seen.

It makes me sad that Sam Rockwell is in this, and that he looks like Chris Hardwick.
