Listening to the EP and, though it's trying a little too hard to replicate the crunchiness of the RATM sound, it's pretty damn good (and the drumming's killer). Looking forward to the full-length release.

Anyone else heard this?

Wait. Is this the long awaited de la Rocha solo debut or is it something else that merely features him?

It's de la Rocha's band. Him on vocals and Jon Theodore (Mars Volta) on drums.

It wouldn't work as a full length LP. Every song has the same sound to it. It's decent enough, but if there was anything more then five songs it would get old fast.

I wouldn't be counting on a full length anytime soon either. Zack and Jon started jamming together about two years ago and this is all we got (unless they have an album already complete, but I highly doubt that). Zack takes an eternity to be pleased with anything he writes and seeing how Rage got back together after the initial One Day as a Lion rehearsals, he probably doesn't have as much time on his hands.
