I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
I'm doing a bit of an Overlord here, but would someone kindly explain what the fuck the appeal of these games are? I just don't understand the massive cult which has formed around these things.
I got really into part 4 or 5 on the original Xbox, but haven't bothered with what they've half heartedly thrown at the 360 so far. Even semi-fans have to be disgusted with the stasis of the series by now.
I was probably the only chewer who really dug Ninety-Nine Nights too. I don't know, I like easy button mashers that let you level up to godlike levels and collect loot/upgrades. The melodrama of the plot just adds to the corny appeal, I guess. I'm far from a fanatic about the DW series, and I think it deserves neither the rabid love nor the vitriol it gets.
Im more of a Samurai Warriors/Warriors Orochi guy, but the appeal is the same; Overstylish character designs, partiallly history based missions, and beating the crap out of tons of enemy soldiers.
Its an acquired taste/obssesion, but then again, so are rpgs and racing games and RTS games.
