I recently re-watched The Rookie. Brian Cox should be Kenny's father. You know it's true. It has to happen.
So I guess I have to go buy the first season, huh?
Yup.
Cox did that sort of business in THE RINGER. Had a great line about The Green Mile, and its "monster tard."

I've never had a bobblehead before. But I want one now.
September 26. Get ready.

This is going to be the greatest thing ever.

Cant wait for the new season. It is going to be the awesome.

Jerking off to a Junior High yearbook while watching a Spanish language broadcast of PALE RIDER. Goddamn.

This got me. This got me so fucking hard. <------- EDIT: Whoa, that did not come out right.

And the Mexican version of the saxophone player from The Lost Boys.
I've often wondered what a Spanish-language version of Bob Seger's "Night Moves" would sound like. And now I know. Thanks, Eastbound & Down.
Will be watching this today, fuck yes.
I hope we haven't seen the last of Deep Roy.
Watched it 3 times in the past 12 hours. I thought the transition to Mexico would be too jarring but they pulled it off perfectly. Something totally fresh and new with plenty of nods to the first season.

I might be over over intellectualizing it but could Kenny's "I transcend race, hombre" speech show some growth since all his racially insensitive comments from the opening montage from season one?
Manson is fucking out.

Deep Roy was the unsung hero of that premiere.

Kenny Powers is BACK!
For some reason, "I didn't come here just to bash technology" struck me as fucking hilarious. Awesome premier.
This show is so good on so many levels it ought to be illegal.

'It's the goddamn saxaphone player from Lost Boys throwing the goddamn language barrier in my face."
Best part of last night was the speech at the ballpark at the end. And the entire episode, for that matter. Too bad they only do 6 episode seasons.
I think it's 7 this year!
Which is great. Better they keep it condensed and awesome.
The jurking off scene destroyed me.
Saw the jerkoff scene...coming.

Underwhelmed by episode one. I guessed too many jokes. But they will get up to speed in short order, I'm confident.
"even though you're the one with the fucking disability and shit, i accept you"
I watched the first season by downloading it off iTunes but I think I may get these episodes on my PS3. If HBO shows were available on Amazon Video on Demand though, that's what I'd buy for sure.

Either way, I didn't see them up on any service yet and don't know what HBO's release schedule is. Having watched season one at least 3 times at this point though, I'd really like to watch these without having to wait until the DVD comes out.
God damn Ecstasy of Gold and the little dude from LOTR who was a hobbit body double! So glad this is back.
Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is so much more interesting and entertaining watching now and imagining all the Oompa Loompas are actually Aaron the little Mexican.
"Don't buy that AIDS zebra!" Jesus.
Someone please tell me that ass was somehow a special effect.

So glad this is back. Even more than the admittedly hilarious jokes I just love the way Kenny Powers is written and the way McBride performs him. "You keep isolating me from conversations?" Who writes like that? It's so great and completely unique.
So glad this is back. One of the funniest shows on TV for sure.
"Did they even remember what it was like to have hope?"

"And in addition to all that other stuff, Kenny Powers still does not like children."

"I got busy and then I didn't immediately call you after I made sex with you. I told you I was damaged goods."

This fucking show, man.

There HAD to be some fake junk in that trunk, right? It transcended race, hombre. (Also, that Spanish version of 'Night Moves' was somewhat cute and sexy.)
"All he left was a batch of Hepatitis on the toilet seat."

Knew Stevie would be back, but glad to see that he'll be back for good.

Masterful use of Real American.
Stevie surprising Kenny in his apartment was one of those "I missed half the dialogue because I was laughing so hard" scenes
post #185 of 368
Kenny's toothbrush holder fucking slayed me.

"Let's just say that Seattle can tongue-kiss my shithole."

This show is Shakespearean in its vulgarity.
It's bizarre seeing Kenny Powers actually play baseball.
"There is no I in team, but there is a U in cunt"

So glad this show is back.
"Wolverines."
Great episode all around. I really laughed hard when Kenny is talking to the team owner about"Importing Chinamen"
Jody Hill said these episodes are the restarters. The show starts for real next week. "I killed my mother!"

I totally got that impression. Last week caught us up with where he's at, this week shows us where he's going, next week is when they start playing in the sandbox. Can't wait to see Stevie vs. Aaron.
Michael Pena should do nothing but Jody Hill projects as far as I'm concerned.
Michael Pena is incredible working with Hill.

A show like this is not for everyone, but I am so glad it's for me.

Yes. Yes, indeed.

"What the hell you doing up against this wall trying to creep on me?"
The snake inside Kenny's fridge destroyed me.
But this line "Remember, there is no I in Team. But there's a U in cunt" was just masterful.

I laughed so hard when that started playing that my friends were ready to kill me.

That and Kenny's accidental shooting of Stevie in the leg followed by the Bad Santa-esque treatment of the gunshot wound were golden. I didn't think the new season would be able to top the first (I thought it'd be just as great), but they're dangerously close after these two episodes.
That was an amazing episode. Felt like a really good jumping-on point for those that missed the first season.
"I killed my mother. It's OK." /shrug

That almost gave me a stroke. And "Real American" was unexpected but perfect. It's like this show never stopped.
Pena was the highlight in this one. I thought Kenny was gonna get Burned After Reading. I deserved it, after watching him fuck.
Was kinda hoping that Stevie's scene in the back of the truck would be his last. A little Janowski goes a long way.
