Man, Obama looks sexy - wait, what did I just say?
Can't wait for this. I"m watching the CNN coverage. Others?
Obama's got a pulse. That's one advantage already.
Wow, as soon as he mentioned Bush and McCain, the Independent approval thing on CNN took a dive.
McCain is sounding good so far. Color me surprised
post #111 of 773
Words, glorious words!

"Shit just got real."
And Obama's not really answering the question.
Bloated post-coma Martin Lawrence. My heart is breaking.
Yeah I have that book John. The one with the Overlord failure letter.
Fuck this audience reaction chart.
You didn't call for his resignation, you said he should be fired.
I gotta check out cnn and see this damn thing.
The Independents seem to be reacting favorably to both of them.
Boy, Jim Lehrer is one old coot.
Is the audience wired like Cronenberg 'scanners'?

Neither is McCain. But they both have a point. The bill isn't written yet. So they try to talk about what they would do if they could fit more into the bill.
Fair point Zeus.
A little comedic moment between the two...awwww.
Seemed a little like posturing and rhetoric on both of their parts, wish Barry would have been a bit more aggressive when he called out Johnny's "fundamentals are strong" bs

Don't look into his eyes! He has that X-Files alien virus! The black oil! THE BLACK OIL!!
And why is spending out of control, John? Could it be something we're doing overseas?
This damn meter is killing me.
Obama, PLEASE call him on the BILLIONS being spent in Iraq. Please.
I think that meter is wired to hungry dogs.
I KNEW it was those Montana bears' fault!
Glad Obama mentioned the actual monies of earmarks.

Earmarks are not the main issue with the budget... it's the mandatory spending that is causing the American budget to skyrocket. And killing that would be political suicide.
Meter reacts favorably to Obama's economical plan. Johnny's levels almost always stay neutral. OH - he says corruption and it spikes.
What's this "wurst" thing McCain is talking about. Is the kaiser behind our problems?
Lehrer seems like he's trying to draw them into an argument and they're not having it.
Jim Lehrer, playground antagonist!
Oh my god, we're going to lose all our jobs to the Irish!!
Nine Billion A Month In Iraq!
Filthy drunken Irish, taking our jobs.
I actually like that the moderator trying to make them talk to each other.
Callin' Johnny out on the tax loopholes. Game on indeed.

"You're in favor of continuing an occupation that spends $9 billion a month. How are you for less spending again?"
It feels like McCain is on the attack and Obama stands there and defends against everything. Any attack Obama lays on him isn't really sticking.

If I was him, I'd slam him on IRAQ, IRAQ, IRAQ.
Irish need not apply!
Someone's sweating.

...ok it's me.
