Sonny J's debut album Disastro is probably the strongest dance album I've heard since Basement Jaxx's Rooty. It's unusual for dance artists/groups to produce albums which are coherent but Sonny J seems to have done it. Of course it does have some stand out tracks and you can tell which songs the album is kind of built around, but away from the Pop Dance stuff there's some really great almost trip-hopish stuff going on.
