Doing another one for the Arthritis Society! Need some Chewer help!

As some of you may know I'm registered again with the Arthritis Society to fund raise, train and participate in another marathon on their behalf. Last year I successfully reached my goal of both fund raising and completing the marathon. I couldn't have done it without the support of you Chewers through financial donations and your kind words of support. I thank you all again.

But now I'm asking for your support again! I'm planning on participating in the 2009 Walt Disney World Marathon this coming January. If any of you can spare some change (the amount doesn't matter; every little bit counts!) you can follow this link: http://www.arthritis.ca/joints/Ontario/brendanpayne and make an online donation.

Okay, people, in order for this to be a proper fundraiser, there must be a challenge!

If 10 Chewers, besides myself, donate to Brendan's marathon for arthritis by Sunday night, I will donate an additional $25.00.

Seriously, think about it, guys, we're all going to have arthritic fingers somewhere down the line from all this computering we do... wouldn't it be nice to have a cure before then?

For the low, low price of a $5000 US donation with receipt as proof, I would maybe consider it. Otherwise, it would do more harm than good.

I honestly thought I mentioned this before but it turns out I didn't, my apologies.

So last November a big fund raising event fell through which in turn cost me meeting my fund raising goal. Knowing that I wasn't going to be able to get all the funds in in time, I quickly transferred to another event, the Barbados Marathon. I was supposed to do the Walt Disney World Marathon this past January which I was really looking forward too. I leave on December 4th to head down to Barbados to take on my third marathon.

THANKFULLY though NO MONEY was lost or forfeited in the transfer. So to all those who donated, I thank you again. All your donations are still there.
