30 Rock - Season 3 - Page 3

Loved this episode. "Is sponge bob square pants supposed to be terrifying" was one of my favorite lines.
No, Eric! Don't let 'the girlfriend' take your sense of humor away! Don't be Frances McDormand in Burn After Reading!
Yeah, I liken this show to Arrested Development. There are sight gags that people who've never seen the show can get into in just one viewing, but its the well-crafted threads of jokes that keep fans invested. There are very few throwaway bits (although when they happen, they are glorious events). This is one of the few shows that keeps improving with time. I thought the first season was funny, but the second season blew it out of the water. This season has started off with a bang and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm still upset that they had an Oprah guest spot and in no way referenced the Black Crusaders.

That doesn't beat:

Kenneth: Ten?

Since it wasn't "really" Oprah, there could still be room for a Crusading Oprah appearance somewhere down the line.

And Cordo, if your girlfriend didn't chuckle at the Jack/Kenneth interactions then something is just wrong with her.

Nah, They need Gordon from Sesame Street for that...

I'll see that and raise you "A lot less screaming from the Colonel last night"
Can anyone oblige with a gif of Jenna's black swagger?

Unfortunately, it doesn't go on long enough before they cut away.
Ahhhhahahahahahahahahaha! That never gets old!

Quoted for truth. It's amazing how "30 Rock" gets away with so much daring, out-there brilliance on network television. This season is off to a fantastic start.

My two favorite bits so far this season:
- Lemon's sex nightmare- "No, Grandma, No..." (Jack: "It's very good.")
- Devon barefoot asking, "Which way to Connecticut?" (where the GE Headquarters is) and he clambers up a boulder out of sight. WTF?

Not just barefoot, but his clothes were all disheveled because he was having anonymous gay sex in the woods.

Fantastic, thanks!

How about Markie Post's rack? Amirite?
Seriously, Markie still looked pretty nice. That was a really fun episode. Loved LOVED the little bit of Night Court music at the end, and Kenneth's sitcom-end-freeze-frame move. This show rules.
"She staunchly supports cocoa puffs."

I love this show.
"You've got wife eyes."

I'm gonna have to use the word "adorable" to describe Liz and Jack's relationship.
Crazy Putty!

Aniston was waaaay better then I though she would be.
The Night Court stuff was gold.

Maybe there could be a new carachter on Heroes who's ability is close up magic.
The description of the Aquarium night club is my line of the night.

Runner Up: She's like the Macarina; something everyone did at the party in 1996.

No Bull?
Fuck Bull. They couldn't get Roz?
Werewolf Jenna being the jump the shark moment, genius.

And Esmeralda Fitzmonster might be one of my favourite made up names ever.
The 'F' Train.

And once again, I mis-hear a line. I thought Tracy said, "You've got waif eyes." Yours is funnier, however, so I'll concede the point.

I think everyone knows that the lack of Larroquette was the only real disappointment. Otherwise, another solid episode for this season.

At least they mentioned him. I don't know. Most people see 3 Night Court cast members as a makeshift reunion that is half full. I see it as half empty. I should just be thankful for what I got.
"Last time I was blindfolded, they made me play piano at a masquerade party."

May this show never end.

And I've seen Aniston in that maid outfit before....
Mac taking the quarter Kenneth found was pretty good too.

And yeah, Post's rack was a sight to behold...

I heard 'waif' too. Anybody have the closed-captions?

I took "Wife eyes" to mean "someone who is crying," which seemed just twisted enough for Tracy to say.

Yup, he definitely said "Wife Eyes."
Terrific. Larroquette did Chuck a few weeks back. Too bad he couldn't get away from Boston Legal to be there.
Anniston was great. EVen if her face is starting to look weird.
My favorite moment was them playing the scene where Liz tells them to shut it down as some sort of huge mind-changing moment despite her never having changed her mind. Morgan was spectacular tonight: "Court? At night? I'm laughing already!"
"No group hugging! Who does that?"
Alec as Jack was brilliant tonight. His relationship with Lemon is perfect.
Jennifer is still hot. Morgan deliver his best when he isn't in outrage temper.
Cerie deserved those claps.
what a great episode.

the night court homage was awesome. "Some of the cast from TV's Night Court!"

Agreed that Tracy really shined here. He wasn't just a one trick pony like in the first few eps where he just pops on screen says something ridiculous and then pops out. I loved when they went all old school TV "you did it ken! you changed her mind!"

I forgot to mention that this episode had the most adecuate amount of time screen dedicated per regular.
What's up with the Jew Room? I didn't see Toofer, Lutz, or the lady writer.
"God, do I have a black thing?"

Good episode. Floundered a bit at the end but Martin was great and Baldwin was really on.
"Other than the natural urge to have sex with yourself..."

Baldwin just never lets up. Ever.
His quiet "Yes...Hornberger." was killer.
It's hard to avoid this thread while I didn't watch it yet...dammed.
Tracy's best storyline to date. The second photo of the kids is my highlight choice.
Jack McBrayer was great with the last line about the pigs.

How about that John McEnroe, though? He's no Markie Post's tits, but he's working. How about that?
It was nice to see that he was able to bounce back after the failure of GOLD CASE.
