The Replacements: vinyl re-issues next Tuesday?

For: Pleased to Meet Me, Tim, Let it Be and Sorry Ma....180 Gram Vinyl.

This is great news. The only one I've managed to track down was Pleased to Meet Me, and it was scratched all to hell. I'm surprised I haven't heard about this yet. Almost every single time I go into a record store I hear someone ask about the Replacements. The surely record store guys usually roll their eyes and explain that they're kinda hard to find...

So torn, though... the vinyl reissues are coinciding with the CD reissues (the last four of which come out on Tuesday, as well), which not only feature much-improved sound, but a bunch of bonus tracks.

One of the main reasons to pick up these albums on vinyl in the first place is that the mixes on the CDs (especially Tim and Pleased to Meet Me) sucked - but now that they've supposedly fixed that, it's hard to say whether I'd buy these in both formats.

I did a side by side comparison of "I'll Be There" on the re-issue CD and the free 45 that came with that purchase. The CD sounded great, but the 45 still sounded so much richer. I'll probably just download the bonus tracks if I want them, but the vinyl are must-buy's strictly for how they sound.
