If PvP were like that, I'd be right there with you. But too often it's some level 60+ douche getting his/her jollies by griefing lower level characters who are just trying to use a flight master or buy items from a vendor.

It's not occasionally. I can't log in to my character at Tauren Mill without either a) getting ganked, b) seeing PCs and NPCs that have just been ganked or c) seeing the "Tauren Mills is under attack!" notification. Sure, I could leave and go somewhere else, but I shouldn't be denied access to content because some players are immature jerks.
For all its faults, Warhammer Online did PvP right. If you went to an area you were too high a level for, you got turned into a chicken with no gear and no abilities. So when you did run into an enemy PC, you were on an equal playing field, and there was a charge of excitement. Not the feeling of "Well, there goes that quest, better run like hell."
