CHUCK season 2 - Page 9

Zak Chase, Come on...You cannot use the..."E" word on...CHUD.COM without someone thinking you are talking about...The Expendables, instead of someone being UP...CHUCKed, from the only good series on...NBC.

I'm ok with this. I've been a fan of 13 episode seasons ever since The Shield and Chuck is a show that I think will shine with less, for lack of a better word, fluff. You don't have to have 4 eps in a row where it's a will they/won't they between Chuck and Sarah. They can cut down on the amount of "Does Chuck trust Sarah, no really, seriously this time," episodes. This could be a good thing. A very good thing.

Yeah, the number of episodes doesn't bother me a bit. The reduced budget remains to be seen. As long as they can still afford a trainer so we never see a fight scene as awkward as in the season finale... and whoever handles Yvonne's wardrobe must be retained... then it's all good.

Most shows get 13 episodes orders, their quality and viewership generally decides whether they get a back-9 order or a reduced order. This is no different. If things go well, Chuck could get 22 eps. But that might take a bigger miracle than getting the show back in the first place.

Yeah, hopefully they'll maintain the quality they've had most of the season. Even if it only survives another half season, I'm glad the show's making it back.

This is such great news. I would like to see a full 22 episodes just because I like watching the show but I agree the shorter season will make for a much tighter story. Hooray!

Lots of interesting Season 3 tidbits.

I like most of what's been mentioned so far. I'm tired of the will-they/won't-they nonsense between Chuck and Sarah but I'd be fine if they just put them with other people and let it be for a while.
