My first vehicle wrap!

Designed it for my station's new Sat Truck. Spent a LOT of time on the design and scrapped about 130 different layouts and looks before I settled on this one. I like it and think it turned out very nicely. The only thing I don't like is how the bottom of the stylized 19 gets lost in the background. It was a bit more prominent on the computer screen. At any rate it was a learning experience and I'm happy with the end result. I know we have a community of top notch artists and would love to hear you guys' take on it and various opinions/critiques.

I dig the design and agree with the 19. IT happens sometimes. Otherwise, great work man!

That shit is legit.

Very very nice work. I like your use of the squares for the rhythmic background. You picked an excellent color scheme that goes well with the vehicle to which it's attached. Overall, I think it sets a good tone for the station and is a pretty classy approach to that kind of wrap.

Got anymore pictures?

Love it, JG.

Must be a total kick seeing something you designed on the side of a damn Hummer (all over the Hummer for that matter)

More pictures!

The back of it:

And a little closer on the grid:

And yeah Trejo - I've been in TV for awhile so I've seen my work on the air, on billboards and heard it on the radio (all locally of course, but "locally" covers quite a few cities and towns) - but I think seeing this just may be the coolest thing of all. I was more anxious and impatient to see the truck get all wrapped up than I have been to see ANY of my other work displayed.

Well, except for what I do for CHUD. ::

Awesome work there JG.

very cool. I've been working with a design company "Cranky Creative" that specializes in wraps to wrap our Food Trailer.

I can't wait to get our ugly trailer wrapped in a new design. Wraps really are great outdoor advertising.

I agree with you about the red 19s, but yeah, really great job all-around.

Vehicle wrap ads are easily one of the stupidest things ever.

Very, very nice JG!! And what an awesome assignment too! I'm curious to know how you go about making it. I've never done a car wrap before, do you use an .ai template from the company that wraps it or..?
