One of my favorites:

Apparently Evans, Jack Nicholson, and Warren Beatty used to sometimes bang the same woman in the course of the same day. Beatty got her last and when he went down on her she said Nicholson was already there, pissing off the future Jay Billington Bulworth before he started laughing about it and continued the deed.

I'm still waiting on Renn's Brett Ratner story. I was also at the Savannah Film Festival when he got his "Lifetime Achievement Award" (that still makes me cringe) but I didn't even come close to meeting the man.

Well, I work nights. So to remember to come back and read Renn's story, I wrote "Brett Ratner" on an envelope on my desk.

August Rush, a movie I probably would have drafted in the Fail Draft if I'd seen it before a month ago. Keri Russell is luminous in that movie, though. Yes, I just said luminous. Leave me alone.

Excellent. Thanks for the tale, Renn (and now that I've seen a pic, I THINK we may have been in the same class at one time).

The "Bret Ratner Celebratory Evening of Wonder/French Paralysis Movie" was one of the few nights I was able to attend the film fest last year do to an absolute fascist of a lighting and field professor. I actually found Ratner's speech to be charming and entertaining. Too bad he just has that douchebag reputation hovering around him at all times.
