Grey's Anatomy Season 5 - Page 2

E! Online is now saying the producers might have talked T.R. Knight out of leaving. Hmmm...

I wonder who died on Grey's tonight. Let's ask superfan Gary Oldman!

(I apologize. But seriously, lol.)

That was easily one of the laziest (and dumbest) ways for Rhimes to get rid of both T.R. Knight and Katherine Heigl.

I don't know. The Izzie storyline was predictable and terrible but I was surprised by how they handled George. If he's off the show for sure I'd rather see him survive and get KIA in Iraq than die of the bus smash.

Fuck this show. I'm done with it.

That's what I said last year, and I'm a better man for it. I now also spend my Thursdays out in a garage, with tools, my car all while holding a football and a beer.

I've now moved over to watching The Office and 30 Rock when they first air new episodes instead of simply waiting for them to be on NBC.com the next day.

Grey's Anatomy: Just one long series of motivational speeches. If it's not the "Tough Love!" speech, it's either the "You Gotta Live Your Life!" or the "Don't Give Up Hope!" speech.

What a horrible show. No, I'm not making a new thread, just thought I'd add this here.

Rewarding Heigl's ungrateful bitch behavior while concurrently getting rid of Knight when the dude had reasonable complains is what did for me. Plus the way they got rid of him and its execution was Goddamn lazy-writing if I've ever seen. Fuck Rhimes, fuck this show.

I dont get the hate for Heigl for doing that... it might have been slightly over the top, but she was totally right, the show had descended into total crap by the time she did that, and she didn't deserve to win anything from the terrible scripts they were writing for the cast. I say well done to her for vocalising what the audience had already been thinking.

The only one I think who deserves to be truly criticised is Rhimes.

I was kind of irritated with the way they pulled the "George is dead and Izzy is alive OH WAIT GEORGE ISN'T DEAD just kidding ha ha ha of course he's dead" bit. I told my wife that if they killed off George and left Heigl on the show I would quit watching it with her every week. As soon as they lost George I left to go run some errands. As soon as they get to the part when Little Grey says that it isn't George because he isn't that tall and his feet are too big, my wife pauses it, calls me on the phone and tells me to get home right away and watch Grey's. I get home, we unpause it and they immediately laugh in my face and basically kill George all over again.

I found the George double-reveal to be the only exciting part of the episode. It felt like a really serious practical joke that fully embraced and exemplified how dumb the show is.

Season 6 finale: The Seattle Grace staff reminisces about George. Izzy pulls out a picture of the funeral.

Lexie: Wait a second... that casket has marble handles. George's casket had bronze handles. IT'S THE WRONG CASKET!

Stunned silence.

Lexie: WE NEVER BURIED GEORGE!

Cut to rotting, jawless, fly-covered corpse in supply closet, then to commercial.

Lexie:
Oh, nevermind, we did bury George. I got the caskets mixed up in my head.

Whoa whoa wait...is that seriously what happened?

If so, I need to start watching this show again, as it has just achieved perfection.

No, that's just wishful thinking on my part.
