James May, EST. Can't miss this one.

Can anyone direct me to some rules for these things?

I'll post some rules soon.

Question for you guys, should DTV titles be eligible? I vote yes.
I'm in. These things have become an addiction for me. You guys are cutting into my screenwriting time... Fuck you all. But I love it too much to not procrastinate.

So I'm in.

EST and preferrably early afternoon. 1 - 3. You know the drill Keith we've had prior dealings.

I vote no. Let's try to keep some quality in this fucker.

The more I think about it, I might change my vote to a No, quality notwithstanding, there are just too many horror titles littering the DTV market.

I vote negatory on the DTV titles. Unless this is the "fail" version. In which case I got a few ideas

Fuck. I'm in. EST.

You guys want to do a round a day like we have been, or the Kirby method, split the rounds into two groups?
All hail Cthulhu!!!!!!

Um...er...I'm in. Central Time Zone
Go on then.

EST +5 (London time)

I reckon yes on DTV - there are some decent films that were shit-canned to video/DVD over here and I don't know whether they got theatrical runs in the US.
Yeah. Best not to put any restrictions. If someone picks a DTV piece of garbage, he'll get shit from us. That's it.

A better question is, are we going to accept "Horror" entries only? Because some people may be looking at suspense thrillers as horror movies. And I actually think there's room for an actual "Thriller" draft. So we should definitely define the difference between a Horror Movie and a Suspense Thriller.

If I see people drafting any of those boyfriend/babysitter/neighbor/friend/girlfriend-from-Hell movies as "Horror", it's going to piss me off. Or movies with Goldie Hawn or Rebecca DeMornaay or Jennifer Aniston and/or Clive Owen that involve yuppies in peril from psychos/sinister ex-husbands/au pairs and are directed by people like Damien Harris or Richard Franklin.

People know the difference, right?

Are we going to have a problem?
The draft. You opened it. I came.

EST, motherfuckers.
I'm in bitches!

EST

And the 1 Round a day seems to work well enough. And let's make sure that Kabong drafts in the last group of the day so this things goes smoothly.
Count me in CST.
When there's no more room in hell, I will rock this draft.

Seriously, though, never did a draft before, but count me in.

EST.

(Although I note that I probably missed the cut. Damn.)

I'd be up for either. Use your own discretion.
Why isn't Jan signed up? It's not a draft if i don't share a timeslot with him!
I also agree with the "Alex Riviello deserves a seat of honor" sentiment.
I liked the everyone goes in a day method. I think 80's draft went too long by spreading it out over two weeks
post #39 of 63
pm sent to Alex.

Between the hours of about 9 or 10 a.m. to noon then 1 to 4 p.m. works best for me, I have a feeling I'm going to end up PMing someone my pick once or twice just because my schedule is so damn weird.
