The weekly paper's parent company filed for bankruptcy yesterday. Executives are downplaying the issue, but folks I know who work there are gradually starting to freak the heck out. Then again, if I found out my company was filing for bankruptcy in the middle of a gas shortage AND a larger economic meltdown, I'd freak too.
Hope they pull it together. I love the theater and food reviews in the paper, and they've featured some interesting stories over the last few years.
