Nintendo just released the "debut" trailer for the new Wii version of Punch Out!! and I gotta say, even with only a little bit of gameplay being shown there, I can't wait for this.

Lots of fond memories of taking down every cultural stereotype known to the boxing world... here's hoping they bring back Soda Popinski for more 'punch drunk' hijinks.

And as great as it is to see Little Mac return, the circle won't be complete without Doc's erratically helpful advice.

I blew a lot of quarters on Punch Out in the arcades back in the dark ages. I hope they're going more for that vibe and less for the NES version. That head-on viewpoint with the transluscent fighter makes it look like they are.

Look at the way Hippo just drops trou. That is some impeccable frame rate. And did Mac hit Glass Joe so hard that he exploded croissants?

Also time to bring this back
