What Are You Drinkin'?

Well, its the Friday night after the VP debate, and despite the hangover that greeted me this morning, I'm drunk again. Currently drinking Sam Adams Octoberfest. It's a pretty good beer, and I don't normally drink Sam, even though I've tried most of them. Definitely my favorite of the 20 whatever different kinds of beer they have.

So, who's drinking what around here?
I'm not much of a drinker, but when I do, and that's once in a very blue moon, I like to sattle myself up with a White Russian. That's about the tastiest drink I've ever had, but damn expensive.
Round these part, we call it a Caucasian. And that drink don't get you drunk. As for me, Brooklyn Lager is my friend tonight. About to head out on the town shortly.
No booze for me since the lay-off. Well cept for a Carona I had last week. But when I find work. Mark my words. I will get loaded.

I almost referred to it as a Caucasian, but decided to use White Russian instead. Or just by it's other name "The Dude."

Alright, I'm done with the Sam. Time for some Jameson and The Wire. I rarely order White Russians though, had one on vacation in Ocean City this Summer and it cost me something like $14 bucks. Beer was (fairly, for a hotel) cheap though, I could drink 4 beers for 2 bucks less than the WR.
Screwdrivers. My brain needs to disappear for a bit.
Grant's scotch whisky...and McEwan's...

I am currently sipping an Old Milwaukee light and some Hopskip. My buddies are working on the remnants of last weeks creation of Harry Buffalo.

I bet you'd make an awesome Girl Drink Drunk. Might I suggest a Cosmo sometime? Have your girlfriend order it for you if you're worried about the macho thing. Tasty.
I agree regarding Cosmos. As much as I feel like a pussy for ordering them. They don't overly taste like vodka. As opposed to vodka cranberry.

And margaritas are alright.
Some beer right now, later will move onto whiskey and maybe rum.

Perhaps I will. I've never really been one for beer.

Then later, vomit.

Can you guys do the beer before liquor thing? That's one cliche that was always true for me, beer before liquor, never been sicker.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's when I really start mixing that I get in trouble.
It's not really a problem with me. It all depends on how much beer you have really.
If it's less than a liter, you are golden.

Edit: And yes, Liter, deal with it.
In general, I've never really had a problem mixing beer and liquor. As long as I pace my consumption right, I can pretty much handle anything. Get me going on doing shots of Jagermeister and it's a different story.

Best rum ever.
Few stories that start out: "We were drinkin' Jagermeister. . . . " ever have a happy ending.

Anyway, last couple drinks I've had have been a few glasses of The Balvenie Doublewood 12 single malt. Good stuff.
I was totally sober until I found out a girl I was very interested in is pregnant by her ex. Now I crack open the Bushmills.
Last night it was cheap ass beer with dinner followed by a few screwdrivers to close the work week properly. Tonight I'll finish of some Jameson I have and go restock on Monday. I love that bastard.
I drink shitty, strong, and cheap-as-fuck beer generally(and I'm not really a beer fan, so it makes sense in a weird sort of way). Occasionally I go for the Rum n' Coke action, or screwdrivers/White Russians.

If I'm out at a bar, it's drafts or Rum/Crown n' Cokes all the way. Possibly a Jagerbomb or two.

Much like that Seinfeld episode, I haven't vomited in like 5 years, and I mix everything. No rhyme or reason.
Last time I puked was because I was really drunk and decided to smoke some pot.

Jesus, Keith, you want us to shave your vagina for you too? :P

Maybe it was due to being in the throes of utter depression, but last week on Saturday I went out with friends to a sushi bar where we downed two carafes of hot sake each followed by two large Asahi (and spent way too much money, ugh), and then came back to their place to have wine (cabernet and shiraz), more beer (boho lager, mostly), and some whiskey (Tullamore Dew).

The next morning I felt like my head had been fucked by oxen.

Last night was the end of the Middleton Very Rare followed by Murphy's. Why, yes, I'm part Irish, why do you ask?
Wow, the sexism in here is rampant. For all you people calling Keith a "girl" for not being to handle his liquor, I bet my lady friends and I could drink a number of you under the table. Just sayin, you're hanging with the wrong girls.
Diva...I'll take you out for a bender. What's your scotch of choice?
Johnny Walker Black of course.
That's my girl.

I personally think that Blue is overrated for the price, but I'll pound Green or Gold all of the time. If those aren't available, I'll drink Red (I prefer it over Black Label). I love how more and more bars are carrying Green.

edit: I misread your post, Diva...I just caught that you prefer Black label.

Since I was the only one who did it: I was being dumb in an attempt to be facetious. Forgive me.

Plus, you drink J-Dub Black. That's all sorts of awesome.

Beer/ale/stout: Miller Genuine Draft (yum) or Guinness
Wine: White Zinfandel or Riesling
Liquor: Gin and tonic or White Russian

But sweet mary jane beats any and all alcohol, hands down.

Weed should be any drinkers best friend, it's the best cure for any hangover. If I'm really drinking though, like last night, I only smoke before going to sleep.

I have a friend who own stock in Arecha, and it the best rum I have ever had I drink it strait. It defiantly got me on a rum kick. Rum is not my new drink of choice. My old drink of choice, Tequila, has just gotten to expansive to get a nice bottle.

I can drink whiskey and beer like water. That's what I get for being an Irish Native American.

Irish Native American? Man, the drinking jokes write themselves.

But I have a killer head of hair and a huge cock, so I can deal with the drinking/drunk jokes.

Shots: Used to love whiskey, now I can't take shots. I had a very bad night last November and still can't shoot straight liquor. Maker's Mark was where it was at, but I usually went with Jim because of the price.

Mixed: Diet Coke and whiskey was pretty much it for me. Not into sugary, heavy stuff like margaritas.

Beer: Harvest Beers are in now, which kick ass. Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale's my favorite, by far. As far as stuff that's year round, I go on kicks. Right now it's Michelob Ultra Amber, last summer it was Miller Chill, before that Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat.
In about an hour or so, I'm gonna go off and drink some Croatian moonshine. It is going to be awesome.
I don't find Margaritas sugary. Now anything with Triple Sec, that shit will cause insulin coma.
I drink pretty much all liquors, except for whiskey. I've never liked it - went through a bottle of Jack, Jim, and Johnnie all at separate times and didn't care for any of the three.

At the moment I'm drinking a rather southern drink: rum and sweet tea. Basically I love alcohol and will drink any drink, even the girly ones. Margaritas are probably my favorite, which I used to feel a bit of a pussy about until I learned how much Hunter Thompson loved them.

Also I'm young enough that jager is still present at every party and, of course, the easiest thing to shoot so it never lasts long.

At my bachelor party a few weeks ago my best man's goal was to make me puke and kept bringing me "mystery shots" which he wouldn't tell me what they were until after I took them. The worst was "The Three Wise Men" Jack, Captain Morgan, and Jose.
What's the word on the Japanese beers? I never quite understood what is meant by a "dry" beer. And Maker's Mark is disgusting.

How is this made? I'm curious to know if it resembles the stuff we make in Greece. Anyway, drinking home made alcohol is certainly not for amateurs.
