You would think so too if you saw it, cause I know any intelligent person would.
I think we should have one debate like that, on the other hand I also like it if they more than one debate. In this one, I like the idea of citizens asking the questions, again, the Clinton town hall question against Bush Sr. was a great moment that told you a lot about Clinton besides the technical points of his positions. This is important too.

I guess the question becomes, what is the point of the debate? Is it to try to let the candidates make their best arguments on a specific topic or is it to try to figure out who they really are outside of the polished image that their campaigns have crafted for them?

Questions asked by citizens are gotcha questions. It is known.

I would like someone to ask this of John McCain....

"You said earlier this year that if only Barack Obama had agreed to do the town hall meetings with you that the tone of this campaign would be different. That when you share a stage with your opponent, it's hard to do a negative campaign. Well here we are doing a town hall debate. So can you promise now that you have shared the stage with your opponent that the tone of the campaign will be elevated?"

So Obama and McCain arrived in Nashville together, after piloting in the Concorde. And apparently McCain sneezed on touchdown.

Seriously though, does anyone know who will be wired up for tonight's CNN graph?

I'm surprised he didn't crash the plane.

But seriously, this should be interesting. Given the current dynamics of the race.
