"In strict confidence.....I should welcome almost any war, for I think this country needs one"

Teddy Roosevelt, 1897.
I'm waiting for Fox News to scream bloody murder about Obama's disregard for the debate rules.
Old guy ranting. But yeah, DEBATE!
Take all the time you need McCain, you are burnt toast at this point.
Another veteran story. Pipe down, grandpa!

Obama looks at McCain bemusedly...
McCain doesn't seem like the master of the Town Hall when he isn't surrounded by followers cheering his every word, does he?

I was just joking about murdering lots of people! It was a joke!

Also, I know how to get Bin Laden but I'm not gonna tell anyone unless you elect me President.

I like this "I'll get him stuff", "I'll get him ... ONLY if you elect me president. Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck"

I can get 'im! I can get 'im! I can get'im! I know how to get'im!
If you know how to get Osama, how about telling the current administration about it? Instead of trotting it out as a bargaining chip?
What about General McClellan? Will we reach Richmond by December?
Everytime McCain talks about how he knows how to handle the young boys being sent off to battle I see the Joker massaging his best man's shoulders madly. So creepy

It's actually one of the best things about Obama's foreign policy in that he knows that Pakistan is really dangerous situation with a nuclear power and a weak central government.

Arguably a much bigger problem than Iran.

" Iwas joking with an old VETERAN"

Shameless
If you idolize Regan and Teddy Roosevelt you do not belong in the White House.
Oh Richard!
wait wait wait... McCain criticizes Obama for saying out loud that he'll go into Pakistan to get Bin Laden if needed... then McCain says he will too... as a SNEAK ATTACK!

Holy shit.
Thank God for Brokaw finally relenting to let Obama have a follow-up. Yayyy.

You have to love the blatant disregard for the debate rules. In the end, who really fucking cares? We just want to see them talk about the issues.
I think McCain mistaknely believes everyone in America cheers whenever they heard "General Petraeus."

Is "General Petraus" the Bronze Medalist in the word count tonight?
Did McCain just acknowledge that Obama was right about something? Someone, quick! Check the temperature of hell!
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

LOL! I missed it, did McCain really say McClellan?

Then they normal, social and political lives. As republicans!
I'm in the middle of writing a paper so I only watched two segments while eating dinner - the health care and the environment - and the new drinking game has gotta be every time McCain says "my friend". He said it like a dozen times. It just comes off so creepy and insincere. He's also lurching around the stage like a weirdo. At one point Obama was speaking and in the background, you can see McCain wandering aimlessly around the stage. The whole set-up is bizarre. I couldn't watch it anymore.
Okay okay, I fixed it!!!
Bribes and segregation worked...kind of. Too bad we had to spend trillions and waste tens of thousands of lives to get to the point that greed and racism cures what ails ya!

If that ain't America I don't know what is.
So, it's basically over for McCain.
He didn't pull anything new.
