Halle Berry is the sexiest woman alive!

According to Esquire. You can read her acceptance speech and see more pics HERE.

While Halle being hot is a no brainer, I do think it is risky that they chose her now. As she writes in her speech, "You couldn't go with the Bond-girl year?" She's a 42-year old mom, and in Hollywood that means you are past your prime. Kudos to Halle. I can only hope to look that good at that age (ack, I just realized it ain't that far away).

I admit she does look great in that shot. But her career has certainly been a sinkhole as of late. And as for the ultimate question: Who reads Esquire?
Sexy is the exact opposite of what she was in Die Another Day.

Who reads Playboy? Just sayin, you're asking the wrong question here.

I'll take your word for it. I never saw the film.
A good pic, and certainly looking fine for her age. But sexiest woman alive? Are they implying she's nearly dead?

I'm pretty sure even with my minimal experience gloating over sexy people, there are far better choices.

I guess it's always going to be a matter of opinion. Their opinion just happens to be wrong.
Other than a few really good shots, like the one posted in the thread, the majority of that shoot makes her look ridiculous. The photographer should be kicked in the stomach.
If they removed the esquire-sponsored gear, i'm pretty sure those shots would look less ridiculous.
I'm cool with this choice. The bit in Catwoman where a CGI cat breathes magic dust all over her gave me a boner.
CGI was invented to create perfect cats to give us boners.
I like the picture of Burt on her shirt. Not a fan of Halle for the most part.

Probably. Pretty crass wardrobe if you ask me. Esquire stuff aside, she's just posed awkwardly in a couple of shots; either the ninth picture is of her with a tripod coming out of her butt, or she's getting ready to pinch a loaf.

I'm being unfair, though, because she undeniably looks stunning.

You think of that instead of her sexy time with Billy Bob in Monsters Ball? How odd....
Short hair Halle bad.
Long hair Halle good.

It's that simple.
I'd tap that, whether her hair was short, long, or none at all.

Pregnancy was great for her in the boob department. Not that she was flat prior, but now? "Can you make me feeeel goooood?" You don't have to ask me twice.

I'm amazed they didn't go with Sarah Palin.

Dakota Fanning is scary (but cool). My inner perv says Abigail Breslin will probably become a babe at some point.
I feel partially responsible for how creepy this thread has quickly become.

you also have to bear something in mind, because of our less physically stressful lifestlyles...better understadning dieting(I speak for those that make a effort to do so..not the bovine populace of the united states), and perferial body care...Female beauty
(which is based on softness to counteract a males beauty of rigidness)can probably last(with some effort)into one's 50's(look at Raquel Welch...she has amazing genetics)....After that, a woman's skin just doesn't have eltasticty anymore and her body to begins to "droop"...

Men's beauty/vanity can usally last until somewhere into the 60's..after that they start to lose too much muscle mass and start developing "fraility"...

But, personally, if I am getting into my 60's, 70's, 80's...
I hope that I won't be obsessing about sex anymore...

So I guess you didn't buy that proper formatting book that we told you about in your Superman script thread.

<grabs balls> how's that for formatting?

See, Halle is hot (I think she's hotter with short hair, but I'm a straight woman. What do I know?), but I'm depressed that she's being written off at the ripe old age of 42. 42! I'm there in like ... 12 years.

Age shouldn't be applied to hotness. Angelina Jolie looks like Halle's older, crankier sister, and she's 10 years younger.
She's extremely hot, but there's much better out there. If anything, Halle Berry is the sexiest woman alive that also happens to have a publicist who has a good relationship with Esquire.

That pretty much goes for women in general. I can't think of any woman who, though she may have looked good with short hair, didn't look better with long hair.

I tell my wife that everytime she gets the "woman's prerogative" to go short. Then she always hates it.

yeah I agree with that Gay(be), she looked great with shorter hair. Doesn't mean I wouldn't screw her brains out until she gave me an illigitimate kid with a fucked up name if she stuck with the long however..

You can't say it was undeserved. I mean, read that post for yourself, it looks like it was written by a 12 year old. I find it odd that someone who wants to write screenplays doesn't give two fucks about grammar or punctuation, or the impression that they are giving other people who read their posts.

The funniest thing is, you're now insulting a guy who actually works in the industry for a living and probably could have given you some pointers if you didn't act like a jackass.
because we are on a message board...which I leisurely write on without really worrying about grammar or spelling...

I have already stated this before; and I am not going to repeat myself again...

If I was handing in a professional piece of work to be read, you would absolutley have a point..but blogs, and messageboards mean nothing to me..

by the by, how is a sound editor going to give me pointers on scriptwriting? Especially when he started with the smartass remark(which I was not offended on mind you...I found it quite humorous)...but I am sure he can take what he dishes out..no?

Here's the thing, flindip. When communicating ideas to others, no matter the means, it's always best to be as clear, concise, and neat as possible. It makes it easier for others to understand your ideas. Whether this is enunciating properly on the phone or using proper punctuation on a message board, it's all about communicating. If what you're saying is worth hearing, than it's worth saying clearly. If you don't really care if people read what you write or not, than it's probably not worth saying.

If you CAN'T communicate clearly, it's worth it to take the time and learn how. If you can, than why wouldn't you? It's honestly not a lot of effort to move your pinky over to the shift key every time you start a sentence.
maybe I will, maybe I won't...but what does that matter to you? If my posts are so horrible than don't read them...put me on ignore and I saved you the trouble..

You show me one post, where I have initiated or joined into a conversation where I have slighted or been obnoxious to someone(I am not speaking retalitory)...I only have like 50 something posts..shouldn't be hard to find if it exists..

Ya know who I can say was obnoxious and judgemental on my first post to this message board...

Oh yeah, speak of the devil, that would be you...
Well, I tried, at least.

It's easy to be judgmental of someone who writes the way you do. And you will be on my ignore list soon enough, I'm sure of that.

See, this post is curteous and non-confrontational and I appreciate the willingness to have a meaningful exchange. Ya know, if its going to make it easier for you to read Rip and its a big deal...I'll start to make a concious effort to write more legiabley.
