Absolutely this. Well, not really her personality. Just her lack of a strong one. And it's not like her lack of a strong personality offscreen makes her performances in movies any better either. I find Halle Berry to be completely pathetic. She constantly paints herself as a victim, be it in her relationships, or as some sort of race martyr in Hollywood. She's a pretty lady for sure, but Bellucci and Jolie roll her up and smoke her in the looks and personality departments. I've never seen a picture of Halle that made me stop and stare. Those new Jolie pics at that premiere that she went to in that black dress had my mouth hanging open. Halle is old news.

If you can't imagine why abuse is being heaped on you read your posts and think about it.

As to what a sound editor can help with, try dialogue. One of my jobs is to clean up dialogue for the final mix. I live with dialogue on a constant basis and know very well what sounds good and what is utter trash. I'm also usually in the room as the writer tries to figure out the TBW lines for ADR.

I'm also in the mix with directors and producers on a regular basis. I am well aware of what they look for in a script and in a writer. Believe me when I say this, it ain't you.

Alright, I have no desire turn another thread into a derailment(honestly, I am not that interesting to keep on being the center of attention). So I will keep these responses simple and to the point. Believe or not, I actually do have a life(unfortunatley its a life mired by work and very little free time as it were). I actually do have friends even though I have gained most of them through my work. However, none of them have any knowledge, interest, or experience with screenwriting.

So, I came to a place(Chud)since I have no real contacts in the film industry to find people(if they were interested)to perhaps give me information. Some posters, like Slater and Kabong, have been very helpful as well as honest. Other posters, it would seem, only offer the piss poor attempt at insults.

Alright, this is completely and uttely unfair as well as disengenious. My first post is completely non-confrontational and merely asks for an opinion, or collaboraion for MY HOBBY of screenwriting. I appreciate the feedback, but believe it or not I am actually educated. I can write, even though its not a natural strong point, in terms of proper grammar and technical ability. However, I have never approached any message board with a real concious aknowledgment in terms of the technical aspects of writing.

It has almost always been a "shoot from the hip" approach as it were on message boards and blogs. Infact, if you go to the Joe Rogan board, they often times mock you for overt polished writing. On Chud, it almost seems blasphemous(among some of you)if you don't write in the most articulate/concise way possible..

Happy you can write. Now can you stop writing paragraph after paragraph about yourself in the "Sexiest Woman Alive" thread? Some of us are trying to jerk off here.
