Prepare to be sick, and possibly puke on your keyboard.

I've never seen such a congregation of ignorant, angry, stupid people.

Edit: you posted the second link while I was trying to remember where I'd seen mine -- same material.

I mean that most people over 50 are so out of touch with reality that its scary. They're living in the distant past and can't progress.

Yes with no hope of renewal.

Hey!

I'm sure you'd agree it's for the best, Mr. Singer.
wow

i've always 'heard' about the 'right wing' douchebags..but never seen any talking like that in public

scary
The ACORN lady made me laugh, honestly. I know I should be wary of large crowds of stupid people, but sometimes you just gotta laugh. And did anyone else notice a little bit of resentful contemplation on some of those people's faces? When the camera guy actually challenged their answer they got this look like that had never happened before. Maybe (hopefully, but obviously not) they went home and decided to inform themselves.
Actually it's you under 30 people that are the danger.

Dumb-ass colonists...
I grew up around people like this. Not family, just community. I get reminded of what an impression these kinds of people left on me when I see videos like this and my blood absolutely fucking BOILS.

Man, how I love living in New Orleans. There's bigotry for sure, but compared to places like that it's like an oasis in the middle of a desert.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say though that Lousiana is nowhere near as liberal as Pennsylvania though...the video just showed a small section of stupidity..lets see these idiots in Philly, or Pittsburgh
post #17 of 156
Fair enough. I mean that New Orleans is like an oasis in the desert of the southern USA. Sorry, could have worded it better.

edit: I grew up in rural Tennessee, I'm not suggesting that Philly and Pittsburgh are in the southern US. Hey, drunk posting happens. Carry on.
Serious question: how, exactly, are these people going to react when Obama wins? Are they going to sulk and whine to their favorite talk radio bigot, or are they going to start blowing shit up like the terrorists that they are?
I glad that the media is picking these videos up, I hope it'll spread to some of the bigger players.
So the official term for these people are "low information voters". They aren't morons, stupid, ignorant or any other such thing. They suffer from low information.

The problem with that is one is assuming that these people have the faculties to understand and adapt that information when they actually encounter it.

These stupid people don't deserve to have their words represented on YouTube, on this message board, or anywhere frankly. I know it's important to understand there is ignorance out there, but does anyone really doubt that? I'm not trying to be blissfully unaware, but the only place where these people should be able to spread their awful spoon fed soundbite bullshit is in hell.
"Get a job"? Like the one you're ducking out on to watch The Ghost and Mrs. Muir?
I don't know if you guys remember the thread about the teacher who burned a cross in a kids arm but this guy had the whole town in an uproar. Kids were being mistreated in school and all kinds of crazy things. An article in the local paper yesterday said that there was a fight in a restaurant between an Obama supporter and some drunk McCain supporter who was carrying a big sign. I'm starting to think that Mt Vernon Ohio might be the site of the first violence if it does break out after the election. Clearly, this is a town divided.

"low information voters" = "low genetic potential voters"

Suffering from low information is very embarassing. It can lead to awkward social intercourse, loss of standing and sometimes even President McCain. I can understand why more attention isn't drawn to these poor folks. Luckily, from my understanding, there are some new drugs to help with Electile Dysfunction (ED). They just need some snazzy commercials to help spread the word.

I was told by a coworker last night that I better not vote for Obama because if he was elected, "you better fuckin' believe there's gonna be a race war!" Of course, I do live in Alabama.
Honestly, how would a race war even work in 2008? Too many people of mixed heritage, and what happens when the Mexicans get involved? With apologies to any disappointed Alabamans, I think the idea of a straight up black/white race war today is a bit quaint.
I wonder how many of those oldsters marched in the 60's?

Terrifying

Did we get into an IQ war when Bush got into office?

Yeah, what am I going to do as a biracial person? Beat myself up?
Well as someone mentioned I also believe in a resurgence of right wing militia applicants if Obama is elected!

Me and my half-black, half-white friend used to joke that she'd have to be cross burning one minute and black-power-fist-pumping (modern day version: dap, aka terrorist fist jab?) the next were a race war to break out.
The interesting thing is that you actually make jokes about race wars! Man, some of you people live in some messed up places!

Well if they do they'll probably experience a different kind of "war"

(notice they nice "300 style" retreat of the one side, to a narrow bridge where numbers don't count as much)

Arizona. There are like ten black people in that whole state who aren't Haitians. It's a damn joke, guy, lighten up.

christ. the only thing creepier than radicals in other countries is seeing them here. i gotta believe that even mccain and palin wish these nut jobs would stop helping.

It would be pretty great to see mccain go right up to one of these fools and just say, "You think obama is a terrorist? are you INSANE?"

What gets me really angry is this exchange:

SOME ASSHOLE: Obama is an arab!
MCCAIN: No, no, he's a decent man...

Yes, because it's completely inconceivable that any man of Arab descent could ever be a decent human being.

You know what I'm sick of? Muslim being synonymous with terrorist. Of course. Every single person of the Muslim faith must have plans to bomb you. Fuck you. Even if he was a Muslim, so what? So the fuck what?

I take pride in the fact that these ignorant assholes are the minority now.

What an eventful day today in American politics.

The bipartisan Troopergate report comes out and concludes that Sarah Palin violated state ethics laws.

Palin questions Obama's character and frightens Republicans in regards to Obama with her hate speech.

McCain then reaps what Sarah sows and then essentially has to disagree with Palin and calls Obama a good man.

McCain then gets booed in front of the home-town crowd.

The Republicans are so screwed.
With regards to a potential race war, I'm of MExican descent and my my wife is Black so does that mean I go to war with her? And her brother-in-law is Polish and Italian so are we all going to form our own gangs?

This talk about a race war being a viable option in America is instigated by individuals who have little to no exposure to people of other races.
The only thing that makes me not want to smash my monitor when I watch these people is knowing that many of them will get a stroke once they see a black man as president.

Right on. This is some bullshit that gets let go way too often. For example, Keith Ellison got elected to Congress, repping Minnesota, & had to defend himself as a "true American" because of his religion. Glenn Beck challenged him during an interview on why people should trust him because of his Islamic faith. I know that this isn't new stuff, but the MSM barely even picked up on it and I still just can't believe that Beck got away with this awful level of discussion.

"Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies"??? Seriously? It's now a point of apology in this country for not being a bible-waving Christian?
What about the midgets?
There won't be any race war in the US, I think the people who think there will be one just sound ridiculous.

Now Austria on the other hand ...
