CANADIANS! Happy Thanksgiving

What are you guys doing/having?

I went to my parents house for the weekend and we're having dinner tonight because I have to go back to Vancouver tomorrow. It's pretty boring here but I've been drinking a bit and that helps.

For dinner I'm going to have a breaded portobello mushroom with gravy and mashed potatoes and carrots and cranberry sauce and cornbread and salad and pumpkin pie for dessert, all topped off with copious amounts of booze.

I hope you remember to give thanks to Almighty God for all that food you're eating!

You Canadians are funny with your crazy holidays. The side of my company in Vancouver has like twice as many days off as we do in LA. I expect there will be at least 7 "holidays" when I'm up there starting next week. Holidays like Television Day, Don't Drive Day, Soda Appreciation Day (or do you call it something else, like Pop?), Mondays Suck Day, Going to Get Drunk 3 Day Weekend Day. Oh what fun I'll have.

Happy Thanksgiving my fellow canucks!

I'm heading out to meet my father at a local seafood restaurant to have a nice traditional crab dinner.

Nah, Mission. Lame ass little city a couple hours away from Vancouver. It's super boring but at least I have pie.

My Syrian aunt always brings the best desserts, I just had pumpkin pie and homemade cheesecake AND apple crumble with hard sauce. I'm going to have the best farts tonight.

You should top it all off with a few beers to make your farts even more offensive to whoever you live with (or just so you can revel in your own stink).

I'm thankful to not be working (Good luck on that WG), get to sit in, catch up on T.V. enjoy turkey tomorrow and grab my brother his birthday present for the 15th.

What the hell do Canadians have to be thankful for? I would think they would be cursing God (or science) for giving them beady eyes and flapping heads.

This is kind of a random question, but by saying you live in "The Loops" do you mean Kamloops, BC?

Yep. Nice catch for someone in Louisiana. Have you visited this mini metropolis?

I actually dated a girl in college who was originally from there. She ended up moving back after graduation, and I went to visit her there a few times. Beautiful, beautiful town.
