You know, aside from the occasional shitty attitude, the only thing that really irks me about hipster-types are the fucking insanely tight clothes. Maybe it's the crotchety old man coming out in me as I tack on the years (though I'm only 27). It's about as ridiculous as some asshole wearing pants 10 sizes too big, holding them up all day as he walks around.

Staying "fashionable" is one thing, but when you're going so, so far out of your way to look like you "don't give a shit," it's hilarious. And quite annoying.

I did the insanely baggy jeans thing until about two years ago. It took me a few years of looking like an idiot to realize that I shouldn't try to wear jeans like the rappers I listened to.

I've been called hipster twice already. Once by a friend, once by a cousin. I thought I was much too geeky to be labeled as such, but there ya go. So when does the CHUD hate start coming my way?

On the plus side, I think this means that I should be getting some solid strange soon.
