Classics you want to see on Blu-Ray

I'm getting sick and tired of watching Heat in SD on my Hi-Def TV!

Why is this movie not on Blu-Ray yet?

If you have other suggestions post them here, then maybe people can give a heads up when they learn of a release date.

I really like Last Action Hero. It's not a classic by any means but it is one of my faves and with one crappy version on DVD, I can't see this ever coming to Blu-Ray. At least there is still hope for Heat.

Films by Speilberg, Hitchcock, Kubrick, selected Bond flicks, ect. Pretty much it. That's all I'm ever really going to buy on Blu-Ray, classic films like Rear Window and great modern films like There Will Be Blood. I've seen screencaptures of the Blu-Ray release of Dr. No, DAMN, if they can make a low budget 60s film look as if it was filmed today, I think any film can look great on HD (if they're still in good condition of course).

Warner fucking teased the hell out of me saying they've 6k'ed (I believe) AMERICAN IN PARIS and GIGI and then only released them in standard definition. I know they're holding onto them, but holy hell, just do it.

I'd love to see WOMAN IS A WOMAN on Blu-ray. Hopefully Criterion will hook us up like whoa. Tons of others, but for some reason I'd love to see the expanded detail provided for Godard.

Lawrence of Arabia, my DVD is excellent but I'd love to upgrade.

Like some of you I'm only going to upgrade my favorites.

I don't own a Blu-Ray player, so I really don't read too much about it. It surprises the hell out of me, though, to find out this one is not yet on the format.
