This is by far the best show that ever appeared on Adult Swim (I'm even counting Futurama in that), and I think one of the funniest shows of all time. The characters are all great, and steadily grew in depth throughout the run of the show. Last night Adult Swim showed the first ever episode, which I haven't seen since it first aired on UPN. And while the characters aren't as well defined as the later seasons, the energy, the dialog, the messiness of it all WORKS, right from episode 1. It's intelligent and rarely goes for the "joke" (Walter and Perry's excessive appearances in the later seasons not withstanding), instead mining comedy from the characters and the situations that arise.

Honestly, I think it's one of the best shows to ever grace TV. And it needs more love.

I love this show. If you haven't checked out the final season, do so. It's completely bonkers in the best way possible.

The final season ends with the grill episode, right? Love that. Fenton's enthusiasm towards panning Brendan's movies (made better by the fact that they are pretty legitimate criticisms) is hysterical.

"I know, I'll go home and make a movie about how much your movie sucks."

I've been on a bit of a Home Movies kick as of late, it's such a great show. My favorite episode would have to be the Halloween one where Brendan's step-mom is having her baby.

I've also been listening to these two songs from the show way too much lately.

And Melissa smacking Jason around after he ate too much candy. "I'M CALM!"

I think my favorite song is McGuirk's "I Race" number from the Bye Bye Birdie parody play that Brendan puts on at his school. Something about the way he delivers it, it's so good.

This is my favorite part.

"KNOCK, KNOCK!"

"FUCK YOU WHO?!"

Also, this site has all of the songs from the Bonus CD, including "I'll Race". The quality isn't ideal I think they're all at 128kbps, but it's good enough.

Will you guys be my friends? I often dump "Knock Knock, Who's There, Fuck You" on my real friends, but they never get it. It hurts.

This is one of the few Adult Swim shows that will never get old for me. I think my favorite episode would have to be Fenton's birthday.

"Hey, hey Fenton. You want some whine with that cheese? I mean, some cheese with that whine? ...honk honk."

Agreed! Love this show so much. I've been watching episodes on Adult Swim on Demand as they pop up. I'll eventually have to just buy all the DVD sets so that I make sure I've seen them all.
