It is a bit morbid, but it's a natural curiosity. It's no different than pictures and details of missing/murdered individuals being showcased on Nancy Grace or Dateline or similar shows. I've been to the page three times, twice to look at pictures of the little boy, and once to read her updated blog on the situation.
The Myspace pages (both Jennifer's and Julia's) were publicized, and they got a lot of attention in the media--so yes, it's jarring to go to said pages and to see pics of the suspect all over the place.
I don't do prayers, but I was hoping for the boy's safe return and probably got a little overly invested in the whole drama of the situation.
