Fair enough. But if Netflix can stream video of roughly 720p quality, I think that's a pretty big leap. To be fair, and at least to my eyes, I can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080i on my 40" Samsung. I don't have a fancy audio set up (yet. I'll end up getting an Onkyo receiver at some point), so it could be that audio will suffer in order to get a better picture, i.e., no TrueHD sound. Nonetheless, I think we should all welcome this as good news.
I'm trying to move away from physical media. It's too expensive, not to mention environmentally unsound. I feel ashamed by the amount of plastic I have lying around in my house.
