Don't know how many Mac/Linux gamers there are on here but if you are one, I'd like to point out that for today only (10/28/2008) CodeWeavers is giving away the Pro version of their CrossOver products for download.
Download Page.
The CrossOver Games program allows you to play Windows games natively on your Mac/Linux box. While just regular CrossOver can run vanilla Windows applications. Both of these products are based on WINE (an implementation of the Windows API on Unix-based systems) and are reasonably effective.
I've heard CrossOver Games can handle Steam and a number of games from the service. What makes this different than Parallels or other virtualization software is that no Windows license is required, and no copy of Windows is installed.
Anyway, just thought it was cool that they were giving it away free for a day and even if you're not sure if you'll use it, it's worth giving it a try anyway. It's a company that lives off writing Open Source software and really contributes back to the community. Plus, each file is only 25MB so it's not a huge download anyway.
