Finally, A Book For the Obsessive-Compulsive PLANET OF THE APES Fan - Page 2

I'm interested in giving this series a look, but I have a question...

Is the unedited version of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes in the box-set or the single edition DVD released two years ago? If not, any plans to change that (I'm not going Blu-Ray)?

This is the first time that cut's ever been released.

Tom Rothman just dropped a bit of a prequel bomb on his wrap for the broadcast of this movie. I'll submit as news.

The Conquest dir cut I heard hit laserdisc, but I don't think it's on any of the DVDs.

It's now my favorite Apes films, without qualification, and eliminates the need to watch the fifth film.

Rainy days and Andre always get Paul Williams down.

Well, instead of watching the fifth film, I'll watch Phantom of the Paradise. Fair?

Okay, but when's Claude Akins get his? Also, Severn Darden has a favored nations clause and wants you to watch The Hired Hand.

Caught the original ending of Conquest this morning. Amazing.

Devin, did you ever get this book? How was it? I'm getting itchy.

And Hulu put the whole cartoon series online.
