Spoiled! Dammit!!!

Thread Starter
I'm about 1/4 of the way through Season 3 of BSG. All I wanted to do was check the spelling of a character's full name. So, like an idiot, I went to Wikipedia. I was on the page for all of three seconds but caught sight, out of the corner of my eye, of the character's "Race: Cylon."

Dammit all to hell.

If you need me I'll be over here killing myself.

ETA: In case I survive sepuku, no more spoilers here, please. I beg of you.

I had an enemy in junior high who would prank-call me with the endings of any movie I would likely see that summer.

"Arnold Schwarzenegger dies at the end of Terminator 2."

Click.

...end of line.

It's rather timely that you posted this; a buddy of mine has given me his BSG collection to marathon through over the next month or so. I'll make a point not to do any side research on this while I'm viewing it, now.

I was reading TV Guide and in one of the articles they casually name-dropped two of the Final Five while I was still in Season Two.

I've gotten over it though.

A buddy of mine did that to me, we're discussing BSG and I had only seen up to the end of season two. I specifically said it to remind him not to spoil anything. He then says "let's go back over who all is a cylon" then proceeds to name two of the cylons outed in season three. I yell I haven't seen it yet, he goes "oh right I forgot".

I was spoiled on all of them, and it didn't lose any impact for me. I just put it in the back of my mind as I watched Season 3. This doesn't work for everyone, though.

I forgot what movie it was, but a few weeks ago my girlfriend literally spoiled an entire film that I hadn't seen in about thirty seconds. And when I was at a Chewer meet-up in NYC someone spoiled the end of The Mist for me after I had managed to stay spoiler-free on that one while waiting for the Blu-Ray.
