So last night the girlfriend and I were on our way to a Halloween party, and I had a phlegm attack, and had to spit it out. She was driving, and didn't have any tissues in her car, so she told me to spit it out the window. We're on the freeway going about 70, and when I leaned out, the force of the wind sucked my glasses right off my face. We pulled over to the shoulder and I tried to look for them.
As the other vehicles go by, I hear a clinking sound on the road. I waited until there wasn't any traffic, and went to where I had heard the sound. It was a part of one of my lenses. We still went to the party, and I had a semi-good time, but I was pissed, because for about 2 hours, the whole world was out of focus.
Went today and picked up 2 new pairs of glasses at Eyemasters for $230.
